Oh look another cryptsy hate thread.

Just don't trade there if you hate it. Simple logic

Exactly, it's a shame logic isn't great here, you'd think it would be considering cryptography is logic based.

K.

It's really simple to stop using Cryptsy.

1) Let go of the keyboard

2) Back away slowly

3) Don't come back.

~BCX~

For those of you that have had no issues with Cryptsy and all that then all the power to you.

As for not using it, for the most part I do not any more, take your stupid comments about logic and keep them to yourself.

If you want to talk logic.

You people clicked on a thread about stopping Cryptsy to hate on the thread.
So here are some steps folks.

1. See a thread you have nothing to contribute to.
2. Don't click the thread
3. Don't click the thread
4. Don't click the thread

WoW funny how logic works both ways isn't it...... morons
You're new here, you can tell, creating a thread in the first place because you're a total dick with bad investments doesn't mean you gotta hate on cryptsy.

Making a forum thread to unite the knights of the realm against the exchange is rather more moronic than using common sense to not use something you don't like.

Make sure you pick up your fedora when you leave.
[/quote]

Are you guys for real?
As for investments lets just say I walk away with a smile on my face every day Smiley
As for time, has been going on now for about 4 months, give or take, being a Full Member does not make you a seasoned vet.

It was stated earlier from someone else that we must demand better of our exchanges and this is exactly what I mean. I can honestly say I have had many, many trades on Cryptsy that have worked, usually my problems happen in chunks, the fact is as an exchange you are dealing with people money. For this reason, large amounts of missing deposits and screwed up transfers is unnacceptable.

You feel I should just not use it and keep the thread to myself? Think of it this way, I stop using it and 1 person stops using it. I make a thread, a couple people see my thread look into it and decide against using Cryptsy, now more than 1 person will be using a different exchange.

I could go the other way on you you know that right?

I had problems with them and feel they shouldn't have such problems, I am a hater (sorry let me quote "total dick").
You feel that even with the problems they have we should keep our mouths closed, you are a fanboy?

AND

With all that is happening with Bitcoin because GOX the big exchange had unresolved issues and never dealt with them properly, I cannot believe any person can be angry for the things I am trying to get across.

People did not leave cryptsy, more than hundred thousand arrived at Cryptsy and that caused problem and then some left. In the meantime they installed a lot better hardware and things are running way more smooth now. Almost instant orderfills. Glad to trade there (since may 2013).

Oh do not get me wrong. When the boom hit they got flooded and weren't ready, they could not have forseen that. I have still had issues since the new hardware. Not so much on the trading side, since I agree it is way better and faster than it was before, WAY. But I am still having problems.

What happened on this thread is I put and angry sounding title and started off with more anger in the text then was required. I could have gone about this better.

Fact remains many things have exponentially improved, but there are still plenty of issues, and their support times are at best terrible and on a few occasions I have had to spoon feed the tech support to get the help I require.

Current support times for a deposit ticket during the week is less than 24 hours.

- We have 23 Support agents and we are still hiring more our ticket goal is under one hour.

If your support issue is something out of the ordinary it gets escalated which can add some time usually 72 hours.

I've left tens of thousands on there in the past without being worried about Paul taking my coins and all my issues have been resolved

I feel like the only people mad at Cryptsy are the ones trying to turn $12 into $10,000 overnight. Anyone with significant investment dips their toe in the pool to check temperature before diving in.

You know what you're getting into if you use them so either do it silently or shut the fuck up and use another

BitJohn from Cryptsy.com stated:

- "Current support times for a deposit ticket during the week is less than 24 hours.

- We have 23 Support agents and we are still hiring more our ticket goal is under one hour.

- If your support issue is something out of the ordinary it gets escalated which can add some time usually 72 hours."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the information BitJohn. It really helps to know what to expect. Maybe posting a notice for customers about wait times at Cryptsy's https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/solutions would greatly help
others that are not aware of things such as delays when it comes to support. Much greater expansion of the FAQ topics would really help. Especially for newcomers and those that haven't traded much yet.

I can verify that my last support issue was dealt with (answered) by support (and solved/stalled wallet) within 24 hours in the past week. But the one before that, just over a week ago, filed on a Friday was not responded to until the following Monday or Tuesday. In other words Cryptsy doesn't have a full staff on weekends, or at least that is what I gathered after the fact. So just like BitJohn pointed out, during the week it took a bit less than a day, but at Friday noon time when I filed a new ticket there wasn't enough time left to get to my issue before the weekend, then toss in other new weekend issues from others and suddenly by the first of the next week their working through a backlog at the start of every week from the looks of things.

The fact remains though that we learned to trust in Cryptsy. They have always come thru, they are trustworthy, and I too have trusted them with larger amounts of my own currencies quite often. Simply put we trust them, and appreciate them.

Their consistently getting better. And unlike manycompeting Exchanges Cryptsy is not hiding on the internet, but instead their in plain site, and doing everything in their powers for almost every Crypto type, and all their customers. Plus a whole lot for this Cryptocurrency revolution.

Yes, on occasion I request support for particular issues, such as stalled/stuck wallets at Cryptsy. Just realize that the Qt wallets are all still in Beta, and that ever so slowly those Qt wallet clients are getting improved.

Sometimes Cryptsy is in a holding pattern waiting for a coins developers to fix an issue so that Cryptsy can get that coins deposits to be credited to them, and then credited to their customer accounts. Or other times their troubleshooting difficult issues that simply take time to work through. So instead of merely a stalled wallet at Cryptsy that needs to be reset some issues are more involved, so we wait, and wait, while they do the heavy lifting so to speak.

But considering Cryptsy manages over 100 crypto wallet types I can only imagine that alone takes more than one person to manage all those wallets, and their ever occurring issues, on a 24/7 basis.

There are valid reasons why most exchanges don't service the vast majority of crypto types (it's got to be a royal pain in the ass to deal with that many different wallets, and keep them all humming along, much less tending to their ongoing issues as they arise). And that obviously requires a huge amount of effort and time just to do so. It's wrong headed to think that any exchange can almost instantly solve any and all problems. At least not at this stage of the game.

So I just relax, knowing full well, sooner or later, Cryptsy, and/or the developers dealing with a pesky wallet issue will get things solved. Or not. But it's out of my hands, and in the hands of those I trust most (Cryptsy, and the developers of said crypto type. They have always come thru so far (Cryptsy).

This stuff isn't easy like many would like to think. Far from it. And many things have to all come together.

The main thing is trust in this business, and finally we are all seeing how a lack of trust results from sustained lack of communication together with an obvious lack of competence in many areas (Mt. Gox).

Many of us know we can trust Cryptsy to date because they always have risen to every occasion. Will that always be the case? No one can say for certain. But when I measure Cryptsy against all comers I still trust in Cryptsy much more so than every other exchange combined so far.

Sure, new exchanges are now on scene, and hopefully they will become very trusted too. And other exchanges are also building trust too, even those that are not so transparent, but instead hiding out there in the wild. Which by the way doesn't qualify for my business, that's far too shady as well as too risky in my playbook! There is nothing better than transparent competition to make every exchange that survives that much better due to that very type of competition. And the end result will be that every customer will end up getting better service and have more avenues of entrances and exits.

I have thousands of trades completed at Cryptsy to date. With many dozens of deposits, and many dozens of withdrawals, involving many types of cryptocurrencies. On good months I only have a couple of support issues, if that many, and usually all minor, but obviously needing attention. And every time Cryptsy takes care of the situation. Sooner or later it all get's done. I just don't fret over any of it. I make notes, tend to them later as their solved, and watch for emails and responses at https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/login

Many have a huge over expectation in how fast things can be managed currently, what with the vast complexity of cryptocurrencies and all that's involved with trading them on any exchange platform this isn't anything comparable to the fiat forex marketplace, not at all. Especially one that gets the most business with the most number of crypto types.

Get over it OP, and anyone else that is expecting far too much far too fast. This stuff is quite complex and sometimes takes a lot of effort to sort out. Relax, they will get it all solved. They always have. And that will almost certainly remain the theme going forward with Cryptsy, and for that matter with the other successful exchanges too.

O, and OP, u might want to sell those mcxnow feeshares (if that is what this too is about) and instead buy Cryptsy's feeshares. Crypsty is the clear winner, like it or not. Get over it. You and whomever ? are not ever going to 'stop Crypsty'. That's an outrageous statement to make and to re-title to this very thread here by

NONSENSE. Get over yourself OP. Your agenda is quite obvious, and silly.

hercules1600 - your a royal candy ass bitch for making such a slanderous statement.

Cryptsy supports us, and we support Cryptsy. The OP and whomever else is trying to again smear Crypsy with yet another newbie account is just wasting their time and efforts. And likely much more (hurting your very cause). That ole saying: 'if you can't beat'em then join them' rings loud come to think of it OP. Might want to cut those losses while you can...

Cryptsy's trading fees are extremely competitive.

Sure, maybe some new startup exchanges are offering reduced trading fees, but beware of everything else involved before thinking that's a great bargain. Marginal discounts by iffy startup exchanges wont make any appreciable difference, and may end up costing much more than it ever saves.

Hence why I sign my posts the way I do!
