Like the title, is this the year of other altcoins and ICOs rather than the Bitcoin?
Due to the last problems in the Bitcoin blockchain like increasing fees and time transaction, the increasing interest on this world will bring more valuable scenario in others cryptos?

There so many altcoins going out now in crypto market,maybe all of this having a big potential and profitable,but f we  say the major coins is compared to the new altocoins now,i thinks we  need more  prove to determine that this all new altcoins is capable to entittled in this current year to become the "year of altcoin",because if we compared the price value now and popularazation i thinks there is a big difference.

I also think this year will be the year of altcoin. there are some names that are very big and famous. the rise in bitcoin prices will also increase followed by increases in altcoin prices. maybe this is a good time to invest in a long period of time in altcoin.

Will i think altcoin on this year got bad price. They got bad start of this year. My altcoin always down. I didnt have good profit on them. But we hope it will fixed this month of march. But too early to decide that if altcoin will be pump or dump..

It is early to decide that it is the year of the oyher Alternative coins now. Because as we see in the top list, the tanked has no changed
.still the bitcoi is number one and after that he ethereum. .maybe we can decide if the mid year comes when many investors and projects make about the cryptocurrency so let's see

I'm not sure of the more experienced people, but I personally am scared to ever get my hopes up too much on predicting the crypto space. It is still interesting and we have something to talk about, but I think the market will always surprise us. New things happen on a regular basis (remember last December's mind boggling altrun when btc was bearish?).

Who knows, we will face a year that btc is at 10k. Unlikely, I know. And who knows, we'll have a 3 months more of a bear trend which will melt all alts.

Then again, alts were melted TWICE last year and still ended up on the up side!

yes. for me this year is for ethereum, rather than bitcoin, ethereum has a potentials than bitcoin in term of demand but not in value, as a top 2 crypyo currency, ethereum will soon to skyrocket soon as more ICO finished this second quarter of this year (2018). although bitcoin had to be on top, eth must be to second of it.

It seems to me that there will be a repeat of last year. In the spring or summer there should be good growth in the altcoyins. Then correction. Then again, growth. At the moment, all altkoins are very dependent on bitcoin.

What are you trying to say is that no other altcoin can replace bitcoin, you are very true by that but the question of our fellow member is that if this is the year of altcoins and I think the answer is yes because of the fact that bitcoin suffered so much redness in the market lately that is why the altcoins are taking advantage of the shocking dip of the value of bitcoin.

Realistically, Yes. I mean bitcoin can go 2x-10x, sure no problem. But these other new alts can do 20x-100x without a doubt. So yes it is the new of Altcoins and a new generation of millionaires.

In the world of altcoins, there are number of crypto coins and most of them are newly introduced altcoins. However, one thing is very much true and that is the demand of the altcoins is increasing very much significantly and that the ones who are investing their money into altcoins are making out some good money out of it. These coming days will prove out to be very much favorable for the ones investing in altcoins.

It may be. Many types of new cryptocurrencies are growing and existing currently. We can see many ICOs offer their product within their token. Of course, it will give us more choices to invest. Many of them offer their best coins with their platform and technology. They promote their best product. however, we should be smart regarding this situation. Never be a panic-sale or buy. Everything should be considered even the new coins or Bitcoins. I'm sure that new coins emerge with their best product. Some good coins may be able to develop and compete each other. Let's see how those altcoins will be on the lists.
