I think this question is something that should be in the mind of many, at least those who got over 1k Crypto Assets. As it is not RARE to see people losing their funds through hacking or all that stuff, it is becoming a lot common. So what measurements do you take to secure yourself (your funds)?

I have recently found this https://www.bitfreezer.us/, it is Hardware wallet as many might figure out. I have around 5-6k Crypto assets (depending on up/down value), so I believe it is not BAD to have this.

I have 2 questions. First is what I asked right at the start, it is what do you guys do for security? Then is this a good option to take? As I haven’t made an order yet, but will be going ahead on Monday. So let me hear your views. Thank you

Aside from stable anti virus in your computer you should keep your private keys a 100% safe by always vigilant of joining sites that they are not fake, avoid phishing sites that well ask for your private keys and passwords and limit your airdrop because you might mistakenly input your private keys instead of wallet address. This hardware wallet is not familiar better you use the famous nano ledger a hardware wallet that proven tested for many years.

To make all your password and data protected from the dangerous hackers i prefer to use good antivirus and i generally use metamask. It keeps my password and coins protected.

Antivirus is really a good choice. Some even level up their security by installing extensions that can examine links and sites thoroughly before you visit them. For me, I just check the https and bookmarking so I won't be directed to a phishing site.

If you comply with the minimum requirements for the security of your computer, you can somehow be sure of the security of your assets. If you want to hack, then there's nothing you can do. Hackers will find any way to do this.

I use antivirus software to protect my computer, but I am still being careful because there are new tricks coming out from the scammers/hackers everyday.

As for wallet, I keep majority of my coins in Ledger and trezor hardware wallet.
Yeah me too I used antivirus and I really keep my key wallet in a good condition of software so that it will never hacked by someone. We should keep our private wallet its because if we lost it or hacked theirs no other solution  to solved it.As my suggestion kindly dont open your wallet anywhere and be secured it anytime because our wallet is our future for the huge income.

Here's a quick rundown:

1) Do not use Windows for anything crypto
2) Use Linux for anything crypto (any user friendly distribution would do if you are new to Linux)
3) Do not expose your private keys to the internet ever, so either have a hardware wallet, or better yet, a laptop with no wifi card or anything that could connect to the internet
4) Do not give your personal information to exchanges, they are all potential scams that will disappear eventually. I have a lot of experience with exchanges disappearing out of nowhere. Luckily they didn't had my info.
5) Do not store your coins in exchanges, obviously
6) Consider any other coin buy Bitcoin a potential scam

That would be it.
This is awesome and enough for secure your crypto assets.
Unlucky most people are using Windows OS now.
bitfreezer.us I never heard about it so don't recommend anyone use it. I'm using Ledger Nano and feeling safe with it.

For security, I have a few virtual machine on my PC to storage my crypto asset or what we call a wallet. Safe, clean because of virtual machine act as a 'sandbox' and of course, I won't install anything on those virtual machines, just barely enough for wallet run.
I also have another back up of my wallet in my USB in case there is the hardware failure. I think I'm pretty safe.

What happened if you lost our USB drive or its been corrupted?

I think you also need to write down your seeds and privatekey as a backup. VM is also good, but I have one laptop I just dedicated for my crypto trading activity. No website browsing no clicking whatsoever. I also have several USB's as backup though, but I just really on them 100%.

I use common sense. Dont click on any unknown links, download attachments or enter your login details on unknown websites. Double check that you are on the correct website. Have a decent antivirus. Scan your PC regularly and use USB sticks from unknown sources.

I've pretty much locked down my system and have taken my wallets offline. Your very own system being compromised is likely and sometimes won't get noticed until it's too late. Security is a big concern and it is good to see these topics brought up.

As for security, you can talk for a very long time and it is very blurry, because today there are no programs that would guarantee 100% security, because each program has a vulnerability. That's my opinion.
