You can just save in browser local localStorage (https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/Window/localStorage) such kind of preference for users (for example, when the user clicks to turn off the animation, it could set the localStorage.setItem("Animation", "false"), making such the default behavior when pages reloads.

I am also not a fan of the animations and blinking happening in the background. It makes me nauseas. The first thing I do is turn it off. With the added script, the browser will now remember the changes, but this won't apply to Tor if used with the highest security features, will it?

If the default splash theme is considered light, can you imagine what a dark one would look like.
The exchange is quite good. With more liquidity and lower fees it would be close to excellent.

No, it won't apply to Tor with the highest security features (it disables JavaScript by default). But you can just save the link with

at the end and use that every time.

From what I can see, splash.tf is slowly gaining regular trading volume, and it seems to be constantly growing. It seems to be going in the right direction, and I'm glad about that.

Previously, there was a proposal to disable insight into daily volume, as this could damage the user's anonymity. Considering that this option is still there, obviously, the Splash team did not accept such a suggestion.
I suggest leaving the option, but for example, replacing it with a bar chart that will visualize these daily changes. The service will maintain transparency, and users will get more anonymity compared to the current situation.
