Good thing these cards are being released in a bear market, these would be gobbled up by miners if a bull run was in full swing.
Happy to see the gamers will likely have these cards first (i'm not against mining, i have a mining rig) a bullrun would mess up pricing and shortages galore again, causing people to overpay for gpu's
they want a lot for a 2080 $749 is not cheap
I went back and cancelled my msi for 799 and got the evga for 749 add 7% for tax and take 5% off for a cc discount and I paid $761.36
so they want the same price for a 2080 as a 1080ti actually some 1080ti's new are only 699
I see your point but living in South Africa, those prices looks good to (some of) us if you convert directly, once it comes here, the price will have an extra $200-$300 increase, that's how we get r***ed, i get distros, suppliers, e-tailers and retailers need to make money but we're always overcharged, not to mention the import fees, customs our side suck the pricing out their thumbs and slaps it on cards, not just gpu's anything they see is popular, from the outside looking in, your prices do look good, direct import is an option but then there's no local warranty, you have to ship it off yourself, which is just as expensive our side, sending a gpu back would easily cost $150 if not more, that's why i look at your prices with envy lol.
