We Need A New ICO Model

For ICO investments to be more competitive and profitable, we need a new ICO model. This present ICO model is not progressive in nature and it gives room to all forms of manipulation from project owners. We need a model that gives investors rights in decision making of a project, we need a system that will made project team to be accountable. With a new ICO model, investors right will be protected and even secondary buyers will be excited to buy the coin or token on exchange once they know that the project will not be a fly by night project or a slow dying projects.

What do you guys think about this?

I think the time will come and we will come to exactly this form of the project, when the money for promotion will be allocated to the team as the road map is completed. Thanks to this model there will be fewer scam projects.

It can't be deny that almost ico project that has been done for whole year of 2018 are scam ico project campaign.
Only few of them that could be say are good were after their campaign they've sent the token to all their participants for them to compensate, then some of them extend their campaign or has been paused. But even is like that I still believed in the ico

We really miss the new model of work with just appeared projects, which are full of enthusiasm, but will burn or simply will not reach the final stage due to the bad market situation.

You are lucky finding the right ICO but even if you are so careful in investing in ICO there are still a lot of ICO that will prove to be a failed investment or a wrong one, there are legit ICO but they are having a hard time getting funded because of the majority of investors lost trust in some ICO.

The system is now too loose for SCAMS to raise money and run away. I think it is necessary to create a new model where there must be tight management to avoid damage to investors.

Sounds a lot like Security Tokens that grant ownership rights or equity in the project just like owning shares in a company. This model is looking like it will be the replacement for ICO's in 2019 with many people currently building security token platforms. The problem is that some of the legal aspects around ownership through tokens have not been fully fleshed out, but this is definitely the direction of travel.

This kind of problem is more than just thinking about it. The founder of Ethereum is the one who cares most about this issue. But this is usually very difficult. Great things are usually limited. Maybe you can find out about STO.
