[Question] modlog

What I understand from it that if a moderator remove a post then we see a log on the modlog page. I hope I am correct.

Do we also see the log for the following:

1. If a user delete his own post
2. In a self moderated topic if the topic creator delete a post


I am dealing with a scam accusation topic where I left a negetive feedback based on my judgement. I am sure that I did the right thing. However later, this came in my mind that if someone delete a post then there should be a log for it.

He replied on my thread (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5132164.0) where I was offering $115 ADA for $105 to payoneer, but seems like he removed his post

I dug the modlog but could not find anything there. I will feel bad, if I injustice to anyone but I had no other way left. If anyone is kind enough to answer the questions above then I may find some reasons to reconsider my feedback.

No, it is not recorded in modlog.

2. In a self moderated topic if the topic creator delete a post

No, it is not recorded in modlog, but it is displayed on the top of the thread about how many replies are deleted from the thread until if it's self moderated.

The only way to trace back the deleted posts you tagged for is if someone have archived it. But chances are low if you personal have not done that.

I dug the modlog but could not find anything there. I will feel bad, if I injustice to anyone but I had no other way left. If anyone is kind enough to answer the questions above then I may find some reasons to reconsider my feedback.

Always use archive.fo if there is a risk that the perp will delete their post (e.g. it's not quoted by a reputable member).

It's kinda implied in the name: modlog: only moderator actions are registered.

I can't confirm it, but I trust you on this
I restarted my PC yesterday, and since I only create compressed archives in large batches, I lost 6.5 hours of posts. I should really get a VPS (and learn how to use it).

Thank you for your response. And this is exactly what I was looking for though I have to trust you and I don't see any reason not to trust you if Loyce is unable to confirm it.

I was not involved with the trade. It was other guy who lost $100 worth of ADA or something like that and created the scam accusation topic. He claimed that that guy (scammer) responded in his post but later deleted it. I always keep archive for reference.
