I think history wouldn't repeat itself this time. The price of Bitcoin has pumped more than what we expect so I guess it will still take a long run before the alt season but that could still possibly happen this year. I also believe that alt season would only be best for top coins so buying at this time would be a good decision.

Bitcoin has already pumped 100% of its previous ATH, last 2017 to be specific, and there's no altcoins season happen, therefore I don't expect it will rise as soon bitcoin will eventually had its correction.

bitcoin was fantastic and strong last year with the movement and reaching renewable ATH, so last year there was really no time available for altcoins to reach its ATH due to the very fast movement of bitcoin which is very difficult to follow. ethereum, which has been synonymous with what happened to bitcoin, cannot keep up with bitcoin. currently bitcoin is in a stable state this is what should be taken for altcoins to move and can reach its ATH and I'm sure 2020 is not there for altcoins but 2021 is altcoin time.

In any case, altcoin season will not come as long as Bitcoin continues its way up. As soon as Bitcoin reaches its next all-time high, I am sure that many investors will invest in altcoin, although most of all they will prefer Ethereum.
investing more on eth will only help eth grow not the rest of the alts .

tell those eth investors to scatter their funds sometimes because that is the only key to wake the altcoin season and also tell them to do the same in btc because i think that there are still many people that cant stop putting money in btc .

we can see the effect if we look in the btc price .

Quote
According to very weak forecasts, the altcoin season may only begin at the end of 2021.
again ? i saw many forecast and those mostly come from the greatest personalities but why will someone believe this forecast if this is weaker than the other ones .

It is said that the Altcoins season occurs in 2020 but we see maybe 2021 is correct because the Altcoins are still quite slow in increasing prices. Bitcoin. I hope it's not a bubble as many people are still skeptical.
Altcoins seem to be stuck with the rhetoric of the phenomenal increase of bitcoin which every day can change both up and down by an incredible difference. It seems that altcoins are not given to develop with bitcoin, ethereum alone, which usually sticks with bitcoin, also cannot reach its maximum.
we hope that maybe this year is the time for altcoins to increase waiting for bitcoin to be in a stable position.

In my opinion, bitcoin price stability is of course very necessary, to be able to develop altcoin price increases' is difficult to predict, of course the ups and downs of bitcoin prices are due to a very significant increase, and for example we want to buy altcoins now of course there is nothing wrong with that, because according to My current up and down movement of bitcoin prices is a natural thing, and don't be late to buy altcoins for our investment, because the price may suddenly go up to is higher than the current price.

Is the leveling (and steadying) of Bitcoin a sure sign that an alt season is about to come?

Does anyone think there's anything to worry about with regards to growth being too fast and another potential "bubble" situation?

although currently the price of some altcoins continues to increase but this does not show any signs that altcoin season will arrive, because what is happening now is that bitcoin season is more dominant so that altcoins will be a little difficult to reach altcoin season and in my personal opinion altcoin season will happen if bitcoin dominance decreases so that altcoin will perform better and could experience an increase in price even though it is not as significant as bitcoin later.

There's still no sign of switch up for bitcoin market to altcoin market but there would be a day on where it will surely happen but no one can predict on when it would happen.

Altseason might or might not to come because it all matters with the demand itself and basing off with dominance then its clear that majority is focusing now in BTC.

For those who can able to put risk into their investment and diving into altcoin thing then its up to their choice but don't anticipate nor hope that much that
there something will happen but if it does then that will surely give a nice profits for you.

but for sure, in this year we will see a green colour in most of good altcoins project, wich indicating if altseason show up my friend

You make a good point, I don't think it's only that the big companies don'tknow about alts. I think it's more that they don't know enough about the smaller projects and how they can bring great change. I think a lot of this will come with projects proving themselves with products.
