I will not agree with this statement not only newbies play dice even experience gamblers also go for dice because of its simplicity and luck base, but it also does not require skills to play the game since it is all about choosing a number.

It's either for fun, profits, or frustration, your destiny in DICE depends on how lucky you are. Since it's all random sequence when rolling a DICE, there's no way you could make profits entirely by a strategy, it's all coincidence I guess if you win using a "strategy". It is always advisable to gamble for fun even if it's dice game which also is a very easy and sweet game which mostly relies on luck to make a winning, gambling for fun even when money is involved gives the gambler peace of mind and a heart free off anxiety, because the gambler already considered the money he or she puts in lost, and when the gambler already have this mindset, loosing the game no longer come as a shock and getting over the lose will no longer be hard to deal with.
I've gambled and still gamble at times, but I always make sure that when I do, be it dice or which ever game it is, I do it for fun and not for the money I put in, gambling with the mindset of making money in return is what leads to addiction.

Unfortunately, but I'm afraid LogitechMouse is right. Newbies play dice for the very reason you mentioned yourself. Of course it happens that experienced gamblers also play dice, but in my opinion, these are mostly those who somehow want to gain an advantage over the game. In other words, veterans try to use their experience and find weaknesses (mostly new to the market) gambling websites.

The odds are mathematically against you and it is designed to be this way so that the casino can win in the long run. How do you plan on beating maths?

We all have our own unique reason into why we do things. If he thinks he can gain some profits in the gambling industry then no one could stop him unless he is already cheating then security will be the ones keeping an eye on him.  
If it's luck base, well I doubt that. We will run out of luck if we do things daily and then what's suppose to be just for profits will become greed.
In dice, I don't think it's that easy to win against the house, even with the best cheats you purchased in the black market.   You will need to ruin the system first to take advantage of it.

I don't care if it's for beginners or experts, as long as you're having fun. It's not just about the money; it's also about having a good time. Personally, I enjoy playing simple games such as dice games. We all have our favorite games that we should respect, such as computer games, first-person shooter games, and role-playing games. They have different tastes, but they both enjoy the game. Nothing is wrong with it as long as you enjoy playing it.

What strategy exactly does playing dice have? It's not like you can control the outcome of the game so I don't get how there's a strategy in that game and to other game of chances.

Quite a lot, martingale, paroli, and other progressive betting strategies, or you can hunt rare numbers (big multiplier).

However, strategy isn't meant to increase EV, but to vary probability vs payoff.

Games are played for fun. But when it involves money, obviously everyone who invested, would always look for profits. Yes, even those who depend on income from it, will really look for profits but the real fun is going to be questioned when they loose (and I am sure, this income will not fulfill his needs).

In what you have described here it means the 'guy' you mentioned is an addict. You can not be gambling all the time and not be addicted to it. And you said the gambler makes a living from it, it is then a source of income to him. Alot of people get addiction from things that make them money. On the other hand, there is no gambler that plays for the fun of it. They all want to make money when they play. I can say it is dice for profit and not for fun.
