Not only Bitget, but there is promotional activity for other services such as rwaltz.com. I reported on some of these posts a while ago[1], and I think ETFbitcoin has talked about it in this topic[2].

The ideal solution (if such activity increases) might be to block some sentences/links for some time instead of banning these accounts, as I remember that in the past a signature campaign was banned.

[1]

There are some members who promote their services in all their posts without intending to discuss, and so all posts are considered spam because there is no intention to discuss here. For example, these accounts:

 - Grace366 (rwaltz.com SPAM)
 - Vivageneviv (Bitget SPAM) alt (ananyabushra

What is the appropriate format for reporting such activity?

I just checked their Discord server and from what I understand, they are supposed to report their wok in dedicated channel in ordere to get the reward and I haven't noticed anyone sharing bitcointalk screenshots so I think these shills might not be connected with that contest. Either way, whoever Bitget hired to do this is better than those standard shills that usually write inside the project's announcement thread.
The proof should be posted in ⚡│rp-claims channel and yeah I also not found any screenshot about this forum in there, but I only scrolled to the next few days before, it's too much to scroll until the first message lol.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I could be right, after all it's not make sense for these newbies to keep mentioning this scam exchange across to different threads.

Maybe they are trying to push the usage of the word throughout the web. Like increasing the SEO or something. Isn't that one way to do it?

I hope they find the shill groups that are popular and just stay there. Reporting the posts would be ideal.

I had noticed their strange behavior even before they launched the signature campaign. I remember in the past that forums could censor posts (auto-delete) with certain keywords, it was implemented in the altcoin bounty section. If that can be implemented again, I'm sure they won't come back to litter the place.

This space for rent.

So I have been looking at this on and off for the last day or so. It really looks like there are a number of things going on.
1) Hired shills as discussed.
AND
2) Hired one of the cheap promo companies separate from hiring individuals
AND
3) Hired some company to generate backlinks.

All of them are combining together to generate this mess.

I can't prove it but it just looks like there are several (crap) forces at work here. Add in some legitimate discussions about them and legitimate users talking about them and you get when we have now.

As I said, I can't prove it but for #s 1-2-3 the language and way of posting just seem to have a couple of different patterns to them. At least to my eyes.

In the end it's still a CEX so not your keys not your coins

-Dave

Not only Bitget

That's right. Look at these two accounts: VFalcon and krava22. They are not only the hugest fans of TFS token to mention or comment it in nearly each their post. They also have totally the same links in their profiles.

It looks this way:
Code:
https://zealy.io
And the link behind it is:
Code:
https://zealy.io/c/fairspin/questboard

In both accounts the same.

Moreover, VFalcon was caught on using AI for his posts.

Shills are quite active and there should be some decision of what to do with all that.

Yes, look at this event below, even though they didn't state Bitcointalk, but they wrote "crypto community with at least 10K members", this forum is also crypto community and the total members are higher than that.

Not trying to promote Cheesy, but here's the discord channel https://discord.com/invite/bitget

~snip

An exchange where all the communication to users is mainly done via Discord (and social media, in general) is a big red flag to me.

I mean, FFS, why not just put it on your website? If they even know how to maintain one, that is, and didn't just buy some off-the-shelf HYIP template.

Anyway, shilling is such a dumb thing to be doing in the first place.

And while we still have no answer this guy left 11 posts for today and yesterday and only one of them doesn't contain Bitget name or BGB mentioning. Any idea of what to do? If reporting then with which reason? If tagging then there could be problems in dividing shills and those who are honestly interested in some project... Huh

I guess low value.

Interested in some project doesn't look like that, he always try to make a correlation between the topic and Bitget/BGB, isn't he should post in Bitget or BGB official ANN thread? tagging the account seems not really useful since he can create a new account.

An exchange where all the communication to users is mainly done via Discord (and social media, in general) is a big red flag to me.
Isn't most of exchange like this? I think there's no problem since we can see or ask other users experience even though manipulation is unavoidable.

Here's an update of the biggest Bitget spammers for the month of November:

1. Bitcoinpoly [25]
2. Cryptoababe [17]
3. Best-mary [13]
4. ShayLegal [8]
5. Joseph-P [5]

So its not as much as it used to be, but for the biggest spammers I am just going to leave them a neutral tag that says "part of Bitget spam campaign."

Some of the posts aren't really spammy (compared to the average shitpost on this forum) so they may not be deleted as spam or low-value. Anyone can feel free to try and report them if they want... I just hate amassing Unhandled reports for some OCD reason.
