I think so. It could be because of personal reasons, money matters or just wanting a change. Knowing when to quit gambling is a personal call. If it's messing with your finances or making life stressful, it might be time to take a step back. Keep an eye on your well-being like if it's not fun anymore, rethink things. It's out of our business anymore even if you don't have any bad intention of asking that. The old guy might just be enjoying his life to the fullest as maybe he's used to gambling during his prime days. There's no right age to stop gambling.

As long as the gambler is a responsible person in gambling, they can continue regardless of their age, until their inner self shows no interest anymore in gambling or is no longer capable anymore to do gambling.
