Best wallets don't have data cables at all Wink
+1 Smiley

Yeah, it looks like there is dimming/fading issue, it feelsvlike letters/numbers displayed on screen have shadows what makes it hard to read. Then when I take Nano S to my hands, it feels like it have 4K screen resolution Cheesy.
Considering that it's impossible to find a replacement screen for the Nano X [it's exactly the opposite for the Nano S], the only option would be to ask for a replacement unit [if it's still under warranty].
- As a workaround, place your device in a slightly darker room, then try looking at it through the rear camera of your phone (default settings) to slightly improve what you're seeing (it's not going to be as good as what you're experiencing on the Nano S [4K], but it's better than nothing [maybe FHD]).

The standard length of the Ledger Nano S / S+ / X cable has always been less than 1m. The following sizes are indicated on the official website: 71 mm x 86 mm x 25 mm.
I think the one I have is pretty close to 1m if you stretch it out completely. I doubt you will get something of that length today regardless of which company you buy from. These were the types of cables they sent back in 2017/2018.

Considering that it's impossible to find a replacement screen for the Nano X
Why? There aren't any on the market or do we not know the exact model?

...the only option would be to ask for a replacement unit [if it's still under warranty].
Even if it's not under warranty, they might be willing to send a replacement device for problems like the one LTU_btc is experiencing. But he should be ready to go through a troubleshooting process before that. They are going to ask him for video/image proof of every step of the process as proof that the wallet isn't working.

Unfortunately, it's the latter part... Almost all of the users who pried open their Nano X displays mentioned [based on the reported cases on their subreddit] that there weren't any labels attached to their screens, except for one user who claims there's a model number, but when I look it up, it shows results from a single country that doesn't have any reviews for the product in question [it's probably an attempt to scam Ledger users, so I prefer not to mention that model number].

Go to a local PC or mobile store in your city and get a long data cable that is long enough for your needs. Alternatively, use the Bluetooth feature of your Nano X.
Fortunately I have plenty of cables from other devices at home, so I can use it instead of original one.

The standard length of the Ledger Nano S / S+ / X cable has always been less than 1m. The following sizes are indicated on the official website: 71 mm x 86 mm x 25 mm.
Now I took cable from my old Nano S to check and it's exactly 1m long

I didn't bought it, got it from promotion for free. And later sender turned into scam (Betnomi). So, I'm not sure that's under warranty and can I ask for replacement. Anyway, it doesn't looks that bad that I would need such lifehack to see things on screen. Just inconvenient and I wouldn't use it as my main wallet.

This is what makes a single standardized cable format so good. Almost everyone has accumulated a lot of USB cables from various devices.

The standard length of the Ledger Nano S / S+ / X cable has always been less than 1m. The following sizes are indicated on the official website: 71 mm x 86 mm x 25 mm.
Now I took cable from my old Nano S to check and it's exactly 1m long
I readily believe that in previous versions the parameters could have been different. The above sizes are from their official website. Apparently, the company reduced the cable length in order to save money.

Considering that it's impossible to find a replacement screen for the Nano X [it's exactly the opposite for the Nano S], the only option would be to ask for a replacement unit [if it's still under warranty].

I am inclined to believe that you will not be able to replace this device (received as a prize) under warranty, since you are not the buyer. Ledger's support team will likely require proof, such as the order number, date, address and other information (which is usually requested) for confirmation.

Yeah, they will not be sending a free replacement device without extensive proof that the wallet doesn't work as advertised plus proof of purchase. You are right, the fact that LTU_btc didn't purchase the device changes everything. He doesn't have proof to back up his claims. But Ledger keeps track of everything, and they will know that Betnomi ordered custom-made Ledgers. LTU_btc has nothing to lose and can only gain a free replacement if he asks. If he has proof that shows he was the winner of Betnomi's giveaway, it might be enough for Ledger. Just try it and see.
