But I am a very cautious person, I do a lot of research before doing anything. While doing research, I came to know about this forum. I have no experience or knowledge regarding this forum. And I have no knowledge or experience regarding investment. My request to all of you is to show me the right knowledge and help me invest in the right way. Thank you

Ignore social media, those fake gurus will flash their fake wealth, so you get envious and buy their "course" on how to get rich. And you get nothing from it, they give you vague pointers which any intelligent person can figure out in 2 hours.
Also avoid those trading signal groups, they are usually hundreds of people run by same person or a group, and you end up losing your money

I will advise you to read all the articles provided for you by members, so you can know more about the platform and further do your research and findings. I will reiterate that it is not just reading to get knowledge, but you would also have to show workings, which would also build your knowledge and capacity, making you a pro in trading, as this is what would give you that confidence as a trader.

It’s good you indicated what your interest is in the forum, but I will recommend you read the forum rules and regulations, which other forum members already provided the link to do earlier before my post. After reading the forum rules and regulations, you can now think about how to start your learning journey in the forum. The forum is an easy place; there is a board for any discussion.

You can go to the board to learn about trading. You have to go to the beginner board even if you have questions about trading; you ask there. Someone already provided the link to the trading discussion board earlier; that is the first reply of this thread. You can go through it and learn what you want to learn about trading.

Welcome to Bitcointalk and everybody can see, you're new. Your main focus should be to finish your studies. This may sound lame, but you shouldn't digress from your education in my opinion.

I am inclined towards trading after watching videos from social media.

I hope you don't blindly believe such videos from asocial media that in too many cases promote a vibe of get-rich-quick-without-effort or whatever agenda those video influencers have (hint: it's not your well-doing). In reality there's pretty much no such thing.

I have no experience or knowledge regarding this forum.

For a start, thoroughly study the following posts/threads:
Newbies - Read before posting --- a lot of topics covered there, try to read and understand them all, the effort will pay out later.
Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ --- read and understand the rules carefully, you don't want to get in trouble by ignoring certain important rules when braking them may get your account banned. (No intention to scare you off, but e.g. plagiarism will likely get you quickly banned.)

And I have no knowledge or experience regarding investment. My request to all of you is to show me the right knowledge and help me invest in the right way.

That's not how it works and I'm not the only one to tell you. Why would you believe strangers from this forum to give you the right advise for investment? How can you judge anything that's been told to you when you have no knowledge at all?

You should also only invest money that you don't need for life and studies. Do you really have that? If not, I strongly advise not to invest because you simply can't afford it now. Back to square one, take proper care of your studies.


Oh, and another old-fart advise: don't open topics and refuse to interact with replies here. You don't need to reply to anybody but some sort of interaction is in my opinion nice and expected from topic-starters.

You can achieve the knowledge of trading and investment op, but it will take you some times before you will know how to achieve income from them, Hope you are not in hurry to learn on how to invest funds in crypto?  Look for profitable coin you can invest what you can afford to lose  and hold for short period of time before you can sell to test yourself to know if you have achieve the knowledge of crypto investment before you can further to long term holding.

Glad you came to the forum instead of thinking that you can do it all on your own. You mightn't need mentorship to succeed in this industry but you'll be better off having people guide you based on the mistakes and experiences that they have gotten and another thing I can say to you is that, if you want to avoid regrets don't put focus on altcoins but concentrate on investing in Bitcoin and accumulating as many as you can while it's still cheap because this might be the lowest we'll ever see Bitcoin again. Don't be in a rush too to buy because we might still have future opportunities to buy lower so what you need is for you to have a plan for your purchase and follow that plan to ensure you take full advantage of all the corrections that the market will have.

Well, when I first wandered into these forums, I was just as lost.  But after lurking for a while, reading some threads and peeping the discourse, things crystallized for me and  the veterans here droppin knowledge calmed my nerves.  I realized I wanted to take a longer-term investing approach - the get rich quick stuff is not for me.  And hey, Bitcoin seems like pretty safe bet looking 5-10 years down the road.

Anyway, dont stress too much! Just soak up the wisdom here.  The community will put you on the right track.  We all started from zero once upon a time.

First of all, as a newbie to cryptocurrency my advice for you ks to avoid trading and focus on investing only, and for some reason, most newbies tend to even learn trading before knowing asset portfolio building and passive investment.


Is far more better a d peaceful to invest your money into direct investments, than to trade with it, no matter what the pesuation and enticing profits comes from trading, I can never compare that risk to the peach i get just holding my bitcoin.

Although I believe in the inutility of any trading courses or trading lessons when they are presented as investment advice, I agree that you chose the right place, the Bitcoin Forum, to learn about the cryptocurrency space, where you'll understand that trading is very similar to gambling. Personally, I still consider trading a non-productive activity and more of a hobby than an investment concept.

Welcome to the forum, I think you should learn first, you are new to this place, the first thing I feel you should concentrate on is reading through here or in different boord where you have more interest on to learn things and be helpful and impactful to the forum at large, the forum has different board even the trading that you mentioned but the real truth is the videos you said you've have been watching may not give you the real picture of how this things work, some people you see in those videos are platform influencers that are promoting a particular trading platform but if you navigate through this foum and my be fine yourself in the trading board, you may get some useful information on how to go about it since it is what you've chosen, however, you've have to start from somewhere, you're a newbie, even though you want to be a trader or investor although you can also combine the two but youve to learn first may be then you can actually know which of them you want to go for but for now pass through the learning process, I think some links has been drop for you by reputable members of this forum, I advise you start from their, I hope to see you grow pass this stage soon, welcome once more.
