What is the benifit of a copper membership to higher rank member

I don't consider that necessary; a copper member is equal to member rank. Since member rank is not allowed to input an avatar in their space, I don't see why copper members should. They already are given a special treat which I consider equal to the money paid.

I still disagree with this; people have paid way more than $30 and still end up spamming the forum. I'm referring to some of the higher-ranked accounts discovered to be purchased or hacked; we have seen some being called out for spamming, which also means they spend way more to get access to such accounts.

Despite knowing this I raised this question. Time passed, lot's of thing has been intruduced to forum. User's on this forum has been significantly raised , my question was not  why there is no benifit for copper membership but don't a user deserves any benifit towards it or a special badge. That rule was made clear on 2017, community have grown. So the demand should be made , it could be constructive or nothing.

But Ig I deserve the rights to ask it. Hearing the community is also another concern for this.

Who told you there are no extra benefits of copper membership? The question seems raised by a newbie, but it seems you are a senior member. So being a Sr. Member, you should know the benefits of a copper membership. If you are a member or above, then copper membership isn't necessary for you. If you are a newbie and you want to post images and wear a signature like a member, then you may buy a copper membership. So this is the benefit of purchasing a copper membership.

We can see most of the copper membership buyers are newbies, especially those companies that want to launch their announcement thread along with an attractive design. Copper membership has been giving them that opportunity, including wearing a member rank signature. If you are already a higher rank than member and want to purchase copper membership, then it's just showing off to get an extra title. Not other beneficial features for you.

There is no point in asking such a question at this time as you are a senior member. Since you have achieved the Sr member rank, you should have known about this issue in advance. Although I was initially surprised to see such a post, the Copper membership is a minimum requirement for those who are new and trying to post any photos on the forum. If he can be a JR member then he does not need a Copper membership. And if he cannot then by purchasing a Copper membership, he can use the photos well and the photos are visible on the forum.

No one is asking you to buy Copper Membership. Theymos made clear that it is intended to fill a specific niche, and the forum doesn't need any money.

Dear OP, what kind of benefits are you expecting from spending only $30 bucks?
Lower ranked users are able to post images without the need of having required merits and activity points.

Don't you think that's beneficial/generous enough? I mean it's only $30 bucks.... (I didn't mean $30 bucks is very little or insignificant in any way, it's not)

I have seen account farms that specifically bought copper membership and their job was to bump different thread of scam like token ANNs. If they could do that with no avatars, I am imagining what would happen if they were able to update avatars.

Also, by enabling avatars on brand-new copper member accounts, you are devaluing other's effort to attain 100 Merits for a full member rank. Do you know how much it takes to get 100 merits in order to start wearing an avatar?

That might never be granted. Especially since avatars have a market value⁽¹⁾, $30 would be covered by just the first paycheck. Then the avatar business became the next niche; spammers bought copper memberships in bulk.

I recently thought about buying a copper membership on forum. But when I searched about it, I didn't find any specials benifit towards any forum member ranks above Member. Theymos did not intruduced anything like this. Shouldn't we get a bit any benifits we purchase this membership. Atleast a speacial badge for buying copper membership.

Well, I've thought of buying the copper membership myself some time back, about a year or so back but when I carried out a simple research, I realized it's of absolutely no benefits to me, and though it does help the forum make some money if supporting the forum is my intention but Theymos also said the forum isn't in need of money, so I thought why not simply use this money for something else more important, or better still, donate it to motherless baby's home, it will go a long way regardless of how small, this was how I changed my mind..

So, except you simply want to decorate your profile with the copper member badge, then you may go for it, but if you absolutely don't need it for any reason, then keep that money and use it for something more important.

You are supposed to know the purpose why people buy a copper membership, The essence of a newbie to buy a copper membership is to have access and upload images, And it's obvious that the benefits of buying a copper membership is to enable you to post images as newbies is not eligible to post images...A user who is senior member and Hero Member have no benefit of buying copper membership,  secondly buying of copper membership is not mandatory.
