and a money that many countries are considering to accumulate as their reserves alongside gold...
If this happens, there will be very little bitcoins left for ordinary people. Did Satoshi create BTC for countries to use, not for people?

It is obvious that Bitcoin is intended to use by people, reason why Satoshi makes sure that the government will have a very hard time if not impossible controlling the network.  If government join in, there maybe too little BTC left for people but I believe there are plenty of satoshi for them.  Grin

Bitcoin has truly come a long way.

Indeed, the best part is, while Bitcoin is evolving and developing, it gives opportunity for people to better their lives.  Although there are people who loss money along the way, it is due to their impatience and belief that Bitcoin will push thru.

It feels great to say Happy 15th year !!!

If we ignore the case when the mempool was overloaded and transactions were confirmed for a very long time and for high fees. Wink
It was still working though, blocks kept being mined and transactions kept being included in them. It was just under unfavorable conditions for users which is one of Bitcoin's shortcomings.

Bitcoin was created to be a censorship resistant money so even though countries and central banks buying bitcoin is not a good thing for little people but it still is not in contradiction with bitcoin principles.
