Yes, today is the day that an anonymous person named Satoshi Nakamoto welcomed everyone back to this extensive forum. Satoshi Nakamoto welcomed everyone to the new BitcoinTalk forum on November 22, 2009 (06:04:28PM). Almost 13 years have passed today on November 22, 2024.

Even today we remember the great man who created this forum and Bitcoin. Maybe as long as Bitcoin and this forum exist, the people of this world will remember him with reverence. He is a true legend.

Thanks for noticing and sharing. That is a special date. Been spending more than 10 years in this place and it is still fully alive and its archive will probably be researched for decades. Does anyone know backups are being made in case this place gets hacked?

It's amazing that this forum is more than a decade old, of course there have been many benefits and ideas born from this forum. What's interesting is that today bitcoin has also reached its highest price in history, which is $ 99,419, this can be interpreted as an extraordinary celebration for this forum too.

Because with this forum bitcoin can also be like it is now, growing, growing and continuing to grow until later many countries adopt bitcoin.

Congratulations to all of us including Satoshi for this great and awesome opportunity, how would i have met with some amazing personalities from this forum if it wasn't created in the first place, how could i have developed myself with increasing knowledge about myself and the financial economy if this noble forum wasn't created, and lastly, how could i have been this expose if there is no such a learning and discussion platform like this, which is well moderated and far better than other social media platforms, this forum will always be remembered along with Satoshi for life.

Surely, it is a great achievement for the entire community of this forum and more especially to the legend the man who has made possible Satoshi Nakamoto, I am so glad that am part of this community which has impacted so much in me not only in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency but life generally, i may not have known what i knew today if not for the forum, indeed the forum is educative, informative with a friendly environment for learning, seeing when all this started and where it is today it really calls so much excitement and thanks @ the op for the reminder.

Didn't expect that I'm part of the half of the 15 years.

Learned a lot here and made something that could change my life. Tbh it's a great achievement for me that I've managed to stay here despite having dips in the market. My efforts during the merits days is really worth it.

Crypto dont focus on money, it’s about being part of a community that goes against traditional systems, and tbh, I’m proud to be part of that.

It’s made me think differently (see things on the other side of the world, not corpo things), learn how to adapt when things don’t go as planned, and spot opportunities where most people just see risks. I quitted my job because I gained big on crypto, and my skills are also mistreated in the corpo world. That’s why I’m happy freelancing alongside crypto was normalized, it really worked out in our favor. Especially during the pandemic, crypto was a lifesaver for me. Watching how this space grew from being misunderstood to something that’s now recognized globally feels like being part of history.

This forum even seems more ordinary than others but keep exists. we should be proud of being on the forum where our founding father (satoshi) created it.

I've always seen this forum as a reference for students if they research something. This means bitcointalk is not just a forum for discussion but for the world of education who are looking for early references to Bitcoin being born.

Especially if there is a debate about who is Satoshi. almost all evidence will be referred to this forum, so that it can be revealed who is lies.

So, When I look basic Forum Ranking, the Bitcoin forum is ranked 9th. That category (Computers and Internet) is always at the bottom on every rank forum, but bitcointalk get through it all, this is a special forum that is always active, and make people curious to visit it.

I've been a user for almost 1/3rd of its life, and I remember my registration as if it was yesterday. I wouldn't have known about bitcoin without bitcointalk. Kudos to everyone who created an account in here early and foresaw the rise of bitcoin. You're the new elite class.

It seems that bitcoin deliberately delayed reaching $100k just for this day (for the sake of ceremonially reaching this level on a significant round date?) and has been marking time in one place just below this mark lately.

If we ignore the case when the mempool was overloaded and transactions were confirmed for a very long time and for high fees.

and a money that many countries are considering to accumulate as their reserves alongside gold...

If this happens, there will be very little bitcoins left for ordinary people. Did Satoshi create BTC for countries to use, not for people?

Bitcoin has truly come a long way.

And let's hope that its path will be long. I mean, the existence of bitcoin.
