If you have VPS with root access, just connect to it via ssh, clone miner source from github, compile and its done. I've been used this for an entire week of mining http://www.qhoster.com/vps.html and never been banned.

You can use a VPS for mining, but you're probably gonna consume way too much resources which might not sit well with some VPS providers.

You CAN, but it won't be worth your time or money. The VPS doesnt have nearly the resources needed to mine anything. You can run wallets on there though.

For instance a coin like MiracleCoin which did a proof of faucet would work. All you had to do was keep the wallet open and collect coins.

I think BitNet (VPNcoin) is currently doing that as well.

Yeah you could always try running a node for a coin that rewards node providers. I'm not sure what's going on with Darkcoin, but it might be worth looking into.

VPS havan't good GPU, or not?

You either die a developer, or live long enough to see yourself become the scammer.

Of course you can but it is not profitable with Bitcoin.
Some altcoin can be profitable but you need to be expert.

You really won't make very much (if anything) mining on a VPS. You could, many years ago though.

The original poster accepted the only realistic answer which was no and moved on. Locking the thread to stop wasting time and getting more bumps on this pointless discussion.
