Seems like a limited amount of information out there on this one. Is there a thread or two here someone might point me to?

Looks like 120mm JetFlo fan is one way to go. Using Corsair CX750M's would like a simple swap, if I need splitters to power then via molex can do. Saw a video (no info given), just a once over of the setup with a db meter a few feet away. Looks like a swap of the JetFlo fan for the stock fan, then they added a shrouded fan out back.

Another item/solution I'm hoping to find... a "cold air intake" for the miners. I've got all the cold air you could want by cracking a window. Somebody have a slick window stop with a small intake hose and fan? Kind of stretching this one, but you never know.

thanks

You've got the idea. I figure near freezing air coming in the front (miner faces window) and out the back comes the heat for my apartment.

I think the trick will be having a single board with 3 individual intakes, or one large intake with a feeder shroud. As much as I like mining, I like fooling around with the gear.

Looks like 120mm JetFlo fan is one way to go.

There are many suitable fans...

I'm with two of Gembird DC120SF-12AS3 fans now (120x120x38 mm, 3000 rpm, 124.74 CFM). They are very cheap.  Roll Eyes

That is one hell of a write up! Thank you!

How about the Corsair fans? Any other options? And please, if it is a straight swap that would be ideal. Simply remove old fan, screw in new fan, connect stock connectors, let it rip.

thanks!
