Hmm, don't see any legit news sources as of yet.

For now, I'll file this in my mental file cabinet as rumor.  Not verified by anything yet (Sites, Twitter, News feeds etc).

It's confirmed that it's appearing on some accounts already, as reported by HostFat so although it's not 100% confirmed it will be implemented it's definitely more than a rumor Smiley

Well that source is just relying on this apparently:
http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/306h7q/confirmed_neteller_is_now_accepting_bitcoin_at_0/

We need to wait for confirmation directly from Neteller (and Bitpay) to be 100% sure, but everything points that way.

A representative for NETELLER confirmed the deposit feature, telling CoinDesk it may be officially launched as early as tomorrow.

This is great news!

I used to use Neteller and Moneybookers (Skrill) in my poker days and I never had any problem with them... AFAIK Neteller bought Skrill, so i guess Skrill might also have Bitcoin option soon.

Exciting times ahead!

This is BIG!

As a poker player I've used Neteller a lot and afaik it's one of the most widely used deposit options on Pokerstars along with Skrill.

Almost all professional poker players use Neteller/Skrill, now that Skrill is bought by Neteller there will be a lot of exposure to the poker community, however a lot of them already know about bitcoin because of SwC etc.

But to be able to go from BTC > Pokerstars within 1-2 minutes now is awesome Grin

I guess it won't take long anymore before Pokerstars will accept BTC directly, as it was being prepared to be implemented already, now Neteller is giving the green light things should being rolled out soonTM

I found it as great news!!Who can believe it, Neteller after a small suspend(about 3-4 days)on my account 6 months ago i had a phone call explaining me that their policy is against Bitcoin and i am not allowed to make trading via their offering services, now Boom Accepted! And as skrill has been sold to Optimal Payments (Neteller) they may add it also as a deposit method but in anyway i really, really like it and it will be an easier and faster way to convert Bitcoin to fiat, a big promotion and many others may will follow on this path too..

Kind Regards,

What is Neteller? I assume it is a euro company?

A payment processing company which has been around for many years.  It is one of the main ways poker players deposit and withdraw out of different sites.

If pokerstars are missing out on anything then yeah i think they will rush into this but i'd still say neteller has a better chance of making bitcoin withdraws.

The good news, I always use the NETELLER and has always been difficult to deposit a dollar or others and must exchange first. so when they accept bitcoin it is very easy and simple to transact Smiley

I created a new Neteller account from Hungary and the bitcoin deposit option is there. But it doesn't seem to work at the moment, perhaps it isn't fully implemented yet.

Sent to Neteller support: Hi, I just opened a Neteller account. The Bitcoin deposit feature doesn't seem to work - the system says "Selecting "Confirm" will launch the third-party processor and allow you to complete this transaction," but nothing happens when I click Confirm.

It seems that it works if you have a Neteller wallet with USD currency.
Maybe we need to wait for other currencies as EUR.

Could anyone who is verified Neteller user please check Bitcoin deposit limits?

This image is not very encouraging - $650 max lifetime limit - i hope this is true only for unverified users.

Excellent news! Thanks! 2k per month is a nice amount for daily things, so this could really become CC bridge for stores that do not accept btc directly. Cool!

Now it works even with EUR currency! Try it Cheesy

To withdraw money from the ATM, it must be passed 7 days from the Bitcoin deposit.

Anyway, you can use them instantly from the net+ card.
