PrePaid card game, which is nothing special.

They don't even allow ATM withdrawals at this point in time..

CCEDK.com is promoting a card that is actually provided by Bit-X. I just got one, actually spent extra to have my name on the card but it was still delivered with Bit-X as name.

That's odd. You should contact their support.

I did. They mentioned that they were not able to personalize first batch and already refunded the extra 0.1 btc fee. Good customer support.

That sounds fair Smiley. Bit-X (CCEDK are partnered with them) offers personalised cards if you wanted one.

From what I heard, BitPlastic is a complete scam. I was sold on Xapo until I heard there was a monthly fee:( At least their fee is small.

Has anyone here bought a Bitcoin debit card yet?

I have purchased a card from each of the 4 major service providers (2 debit and 2 prepaid).

I'll be doing an in depth review of each soon! Stay tuned.

WageCan, ANX and Bit-X. AdvCash no longer ships to US since May 22. CCEDK.com also ships their branded card provided by Bit-X.

Sure, I have all the legitimate cards available in the US (I do not recommend BitPlastic, too many bad reviews.) I have a review up at your bitcoin debit card options.

Awesome! Which one did you have the most positive experience with? It looks like you are most in favor of WageCan.

They all work fine. Each has its quirks you have to get used to, at some terminals you select credit card instead of debit for bit-x for example.

Used my Bit-X card to complete an Amazon & Audible purchase a few days ago.

Buying movie tickets online did not work because it bypasses Mastercard Securecode.

I just received my wagecan debit card a few days ago and I have to say that so far its been great. I have used it at Walgreens and at a few restaurants so far without any issues. It is pretty convenient now that I can just transfer my bitcoins directly to the btc address on the card. It also states that loading the card may take 2 business days , but my deposit cleared in less than 12 hrs.

This is the only card I have currently so I cannot say if its better or worse than anything else out there, but just wanted to share my experience with it so far.

Let us know if it gets rejected anywhere! I'm still on the fence about getting a bitcoin debit card. I heard the the Xapo card gets rejected at certain locations.

What is the exchange rate that Wagecan and ANX and direct-from-wallet Xapo and Bit-X offer for loading/spending to/from their USD debit cards?

Wagecan FAQ says only vaguely that the rate is determined by Wagecan and incorporates all fees.

For context: OKPay offers BTC deposit with "0%", however the exchange rate from BTC to OKPay-USD is about 10% (!) lower than market and lower than most online exchangers offer.

I just got my wagecan debit card and loaded some BTC to it.  Did you receive an email confirmation after the funds cleared?  I wish I could check the balance via website or mobile app.

The debit card was launched through a partnership with the European and Latin American payment processor AstroPay.

Do they ask for any documents before sending the card?
I just don't really like the idea of sending my passport informations to one of those companies...
