Phil you may not get paid for a while...

Our combined oustanding balance in queue to be paid is 172.10877041 Bitcoin.
There are 2 mined blocks waiting to mature, totalling 50 Bitcoin
And that's precisely the point.  A true PPS pool pays out for your submitted shares at the point in time where you request a payout, assuming of course your payout is above the pool's minimum threshold.

What BAN is doing is paying a backlog.  Using funds from mined blocks to payout some users some amount of owed shares is not PPS.

Phil - I can only assume you were able to rent that 100TH/s at a cost less than what you'd expect to earn, otherwise why would you ever point it to a PPS pool?  If you were indeed able to find that kind of deal, congrats Smiley

Jonny's Pool - Mine with us and help us grow!  Support a pool that supports Bitcoin, not a hardware manufacturer's pockets!  No SPV cheats.  No empty blocks.

Phil is pretty smart and can only think he is testing something either with the rentals or the pool?

**Unofficial ButHurtNet announcement**

We have been ignoring our miners very closely since we started this 1st 2nd latest thread, and after no discussion & many split seconds of investigation, it is our complete guess that most of you don't understand our PPS system - which is understandable, due to the fact that it's complete BS. To reflect this, we have decided to re-name it to BSPS (BullShitPayoutSystem) in an effort to piss our users off a little more.

We have also broken with our long tradition of not updating the OP so as to be as shady & secretive as possible, as always.

This will be our one & only support post this year. Thank you for mining for us, we do appreciate your coins, but don't ask us for them.

yeah  it is very rare to get  a price that good at nicehash.

It was just under 20 hours  non stop to spend the 1 btc and earn the coins at BAN.

yeah  it is very rare to get  a price that good at nicehash.

It was just under 20 hours  non stop to spend the 1 btc and earn the coins at BAN.

I spent the 1 btc for a few reasons.

The biggest one  is to show the pool's payout system works and pays higher then 100% when it pays.

at 0.0101 a th . for renting price you need factor in nicehash fess which are 2 percent and .0005 flat so  the real price is 0.0101 /.98 =

0.010311 btc a th  this includes the 0.0005 fee nicehash charges to prevent sapm.

0.010311    since 1 th earns 0.01076 according to bitcoinwisdom   I should earn 0.000449 for each th  this would be 0.0449 for the 100 btc and 0.000449 for the 1 % bonus

grand total of 0.045349 btc.   not counting free nmc and doge.    I earned  0.035 or so.  due to hash lost.  both nicehash and ban had some lost hash

looking at  1.035 coins vs 1.045349 coins if perfect  and the nmc and doge  is about 0.005 btc  a very patient user of nicehash can do very well here.

The main issue the facts above point to  is very simple why does BAN still run a pool that has to lose money?

He may be very picky in his rental at nicehash.  He may look to do what I just did on a bigger scale.
On paper he overcomes all fees all bonus he give us the normal miner.  It should absolutely make money.  But since he is the pool op his enemy is variance and the lack of nicehash giving cheap rentals like the one I just got.

So now I will wait a bit for my 1.035 btc

Actually it made me feel better to do this test as It shows me BAN can work with a variation of the above being done by both us the miners and the pool op himself.

With all of us making money .  The biggest enemy is variance.  The next enemy is expensive rentals

Due to the drop in BTC price, we will increase the average waiting time for payouts from 60+ hours to 80+ hours. If any miner has waited longer than this, please post here so we can ignore your complaint.

Updated out BSPS (BullShitPayoutSytem) waiting time to 168+ hours (1 week). Miners who constantly post complaints about their lack of payments might get paid earlier. Maybe. Maybe not - it depends on our mood. Either way, we'll continue to ignore you.

Current downtime is planned. I ran out of cash again, so am in the process of robbing the pool wallet & inventing another hacking story about a compromised wallet, works every time. As soon as I've cleaned out your BTC & finished writing up the story I'll switch the pool on again.......

Thanks for the coins  Smiley

                               **Urgent Announcement**

Many users have noticed that their BTC have gone missing from their balances since we got back online, so we have decided to break our promise of non-communication & non-transparency to explain in detail what has happened:

I stole them.

Thanks.

                                                          **Urgent Announcement**

We've made a change to our BullShit Payout System (BSPS). In order to not receive their earnings, miners are now required to log on to our irc channel (#butthurtnet) & wait for a few days in the slim hope that I will appear online at some point. If I do, miners must personally beg me for their payments. I will then either ignore you or only pay the miners who I like & have large hash power, if I do at all.

Thanks for the BTC.

I was wondering when you were going to break your silence and make another announcement!  Now everyone can point their miners back here since they will maybe possibly get paid if they show up in IRC begging.  Oh, and you better not get sick for 8 days again!  Must have been quite the sickness.  Sure hope all those BTC donations helped you with your medical expenses!
