Yupi the cards are available. (well will be tomorrow, but we have them Cheesy, little beauties.)

OFFICIAL BITCUREX.COM THREAD AVAILABLE HERE >> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=93592.0

There are limited stock for these cards, so get them while they are hot.

The shop will be opened on Tuesday (at 14.08.2012) 18:00 CEST.
shop.bitcurex.com (insted of bitcurrex.com)

And now free cards: How? Easy

1st buyer will get additional (1-one) BCC in any currency he/she chose for FREEEEE
10-th buyer -||- same as above
20-th buyer -||- same as above
30-th buyer -||- same as above
40-th buyer -||- same as above

There are 5 Bitcurex BCC  to get for freeee.

So how do they work and how small general charges are?

For example if you purchase the EUR card and would like use it to its limits:

2.6 Ƀ approx 25EUR at the moment, max card eur 2500EUR
25/2500=1%
BTC/EUR=0
EURwithdrawal to BCC card=0
Total 2500 POS=0%

So the card cost is just 1% of its max capacity

But we want to take out the money, right?
So limits 150EUR/day. to withdraw 2.5k we would need 40EUR to withdraw max from this card.
25EUR+40EUR=65EUR
65EUR/2500EUR=2,6%

So the total cost of the card use is: 1% for NON-cash transaction
or
2.6% - if we would like to withdraw the max amount from the card.

Ok but is there any charges by a card operator when I purchase something online?
No there is no hidden charges, If you have VISA USD BCC and you are purchasing in USD currency, there is no charges (there is only if you want to purchase something in other currency than your card, detailed description in the shop.bitcurex.com), For that purpose, if you want to purchase something from EU and you are in US, and you want it fast, you can have EUR card loaded with EURO just to go online shopping in Europe.

Now we want to have GBP or USD from our EUR market, right?

How much it cost?
We have made special agreement with our bank, and we are using their special tools to convert currencies for a very good rates. For example:

Today we would like to withdraw 100 EUR to a BCC USD card, how much USD will we have?
We would have approx 123 USD at our BCC USD card, and how fast we would have that?
Faaast, If you value your time and time=money than BCC is just for you.
EUR withdraw to the BCC's are made within few hours.
Withdrawals to USD and GBP cards will take up to 12h, (within few hours when there will be USD and GBP market)

Now how much would you have if you would like to send EUR to your USD' account?
Lets see: massive bank charges for wire transfer, 2.5EUR+0.2% (only our bank charges) and how fast? Not fast at all, slow, few days of waiting at least, in addition crappy f/x rates, probably you would receive 110 USD? Or maybe less.

So the BCC has low fees in general, and are fast.
Also it has a special ability that we can check the balance by SMS text message at no charges for the card (only the GSM provider cost for sending an SMS text message)

The currency exchange rates are changing all the time, so it is not constant, we and our bank do not charge any additional fees for currency converting as it is on other exchanges, card suppliers.

What is the expiration date?
The card has 2 years expiration date, so can be used for 2 years.

-best regards-

One more thing:
Ƀ - this sign. Does everyone sees it? It seems winXP do not support this character, and we are thinking of making in future crads this character and also on our main site.

How would you load the card? Is loading the card free?

Can you load the card with BTC, or do you have to convert it to EUR (or any other currency) via your exchange first, and then load it?

Also, how do you handle the different/worse exchange rate at your site vs. mtgoxEUR?

For example, mtgoxEUR is 9.6010 now, while your latest bid is 9.00 EUR, so there's a very large spread and selling at 9.00 instead of 9.60 is essentially a 6.75% fee + your exchange fee.

It'd be much better if you were able to sell at mtgoxEUR market prices and load the card that way.

Im sure they would lock to their own exchange market price afterall it is their own cards. If alot of people start using the exchange, perhaps to use these cards, then they would have higher trading volume and not trail behind mtgox price this much.

Hello

How would you load the card? Is loading the card free?

Yes you can instantly load the card from our exchange by ref code of the card, It will all be explained in the shop.bitcurex.com, and aditional information here.

Can you load the card with BTC, or do you have to convert it to EUR (or any other currency) via your exchange first, and then load it?

Not right now, Loading the card using only BTC is one of future feature, But everyone now have the power over the selling of their BTC, We do not charge anything, we are trying to keep it as low fees as possible, and for withdrawals to be fast.

Yes as Clipse said, we are new exchange on EUR and PLN market, Right now after 3 weeks of operating we have approx 2000 BTC turnover so we are chasing intersango and mtGox with the PLN market. We would like for our EUR market to be as fast as the PLN market, but it does not depends totally on us. We hope that once the cards will spread to the world, we will have better volume and better prices.

Our ide is to make as low fees as possible (especially those charged by banks for wire transfers) and for wire transfers to be as fast as bitcoin, Well nothing is as fast as bitcoin but few hours for wire trasnfer from Europe to US to the BCCs cards are fast, without any charges for withdrawals, in additional Bitcoin logo and name on a card along with VISA logo is quite impressive (we also have similar but from MasterCard, they will be in next week and only in PLN currency but will have speacial feature - will explain later)

Best regards

Interesting product!

Some questions:

1. Do you have pictures of the real cards?
2. How can one load the card with bitcoins if it's impossible to sell bitcoins on your exchange due to current lack of volume?
3. Do you accept any external exchange coupons (MtGox, CryptoXchange, BTC-e, Bitinstant...)
4. What will be the differences between the mastercard and the visa card?

Thank you in advance for your answers. Looking forward to this promising new service for our customers.

Hello

THank you for your questions.

1. Yes they will be updated today, and will post them here. The originals looks better than the design.

2. That is a very good question. We think over time the volume gets bigger and bigger and wont be any problems to do so.

AD. In the future, there will be more cards, with different function and load options, as for everybody's needs.

3. Not at the moment.

4. MasterCard will be the PLN currency, and due to lack of additional 2.8% conversion ratio (which VISA has) if you pay/withdraw currency that is not a main cards currency (ie you withdraw EUR from USD card), thus can be used in places where there is no USD, GBP, EUR, PLN available, for example Canada. The conversion rates are by MC's F/X rates.

Best Regards

Question to any bitcurex card holders; I lost my papers that came with the card, but still have the card and I know it has a balance. TO check the balance I had to send an SMS textmessage. I still have the number I need to SMS, but since I factory reset my phone, I no longer have the message. It was a long number and it ended with " S" IIRC.
Can someone check, is that long number part of card number somehow?
