Remove All Faucets from Service Announcements

I'd like to suggest that all faucets are announced/discussed in a sub category in the 'Service Announcement' board. A faucet isn't a service, nor does it bring anything useful to the community (any more). They are made solely for the advertisement profit, nowadays at least (hence why most faucet owners control several sites, often above 10, to earn from visitors).

Bitcoin Forum > Economy > Marketplace > Service Announcements > Faucet Announcements

True, Faucets are pretty useless nowadays for anyone that has spent more than a week on BTC, but for those that are incredibly new, their first satoshis can be acquired for free to play with wallets and experiment. For example, its great to have free satoshis to send from your computer to your smartphone or paper address for testing. In this serve they provide this service.

I think that we can all agree that faucets are useless to members of the community that have found better ways to earn. And that's most of the people that have known bitcoin for more than a month or have a better technical understanding.

We just need to be more vocal about it, if admins don't see enough people wanting this to change it's most likely that we'll never see any change about faucets. A couple of PMs won't do much in my opinion. If you dislike faucets, say it out loud. I'm sure most of us here will agree.

I personally love this idea.   If there was a faucet sub board it would clean up a lot of spam.

Look in beginner forum there is people battling back and forth saying they have the best faucet list or rotators.  I wish it was removed all to it's own place such as a sub board.

That makes no sense. There are no "on-board" faucets. If you suggest they are gambling they would have to go into the gambling section as most (if not all) faucet have a dedicated homepage.

well the thing its its on the marketplace in a sub categorie no in my opinion the faucets are like for newbies to interact with bitcoin soo it could be also on the newibes page insted of services but im not the best one to moderate that im not even good enghoth not to be banned form 2 to 2 months lol.

It;s getting out of hand. If only the administration of the website would look into this more. Faucets are bringing spam to another level. If the rule against spammy advertising and referal links is still allowed all of the faucet topics should be removed. But from what it seems administrators won't even bother.

That is great to hear!   I would agree maybe like "Micro Earnings - Faucets, and rest of list you want here".   

I would love to get them out of service announcements and beginner thread.  It's like the battle of the faucets some day's in beginner thread.

In the forum description you can list the different ways people can make money - faucets, signature campaigns, etc.
