This limit is for cards which were ordered without basic verification. Basic verification increases this 'limit' to unlimited.

Hi marco please do consider Pakistan shipping

Countries where the BIT-X Debit MasterCard will not be shipped to for the time being due to Financial Action Task Force (FATF) and Central Bank restrictions:

Afghanistan, Albania, Algeria, Angola, Cambodia, Democratic Peoples's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Ecuador, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Namibia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Panama, Papua New Guinea, Sudan, Syria, Uganda, USA, Yemen, Zimbabwe.

Ooops I was really waiting for this master card since long time, and at last when it is going to release, Now the problem is you can not ship it in Pakistan.
Will you be able to ship in next future or its permanent ?

I like the idea, but there are a lot of not insubstatial charges related to the mastercard.
0.05 if I don't use it for a month? Thats like $12. Another $12 to activate the card . $2 or so everytime you use it. and if I want my name on it, it will be another $24!

If the costs come down A LOT, then I would get one, but I would not pay $150 to have an unused card, or the changes related to using it

As cool as a bitcoin debit card is these fees make it practically pointless to use. Bitcoin is meant to be minimal fees yet there's ridiculous fees for everytime you use it and fees for when you dont. It was a similar story to the other cards I've seen available. I'd love one personally but wouldn't bother if there's fees are so much. I want something I can load up and use as and when needed and not have to worry about making a purchase just to keep it active.

Currently my main concern is the limit. If they introduce a limit of let us say $2000 per card or something similar, this is a bit of a problem. Nobody wants to order a new card every couple of months.

Using the card once a month isn't all too hard and will more than likely come naturally (a withdraw or purchase at least once every 30 days). A $2 fee when used is minuscule considering you're spending directly from your Crypto (Bitcoin or Litecoin) balance, no need to spend fees on an exchange to convert it to fiat. Lastly, your name on the card isn't essential but I understand it can be preferred (especially as some shops require it).

I'll mention the fees to the team and will get back to you regarding them.

I ordered mine without a name so by default BIT-X.com is embossed.

The card looks much better in person and also comes in another design (as seen on the site, just without the Bit-X logo which will soon be printed on cards when possible).

You can easily register on neteller, deposit your bitcoin (with zero fee) through bitPay and after generate a virtual debit cart.

Then you won't have the advantages of having a physical card!

EDIT: BitPay charges extremely high fees (a much lower exchange rate). Also, unfortunately, neteller's card isn't a debit card which is linked to your wallet. All bitcoin is converted with BitPay's lower exchange (5%+ fees) to fiat when you fund it so you may suffer from the volatile exchange rate.

The BIT-X Debit MasterCard™ converts from your balance at the exact point in time when a transaction is initiated, so you don't lose out on exchange rate changes!

The Bit-X debit card has ridiculously high, unreasonable fees which make using the card pointless. The fact that you say BitPay has high fees is hilarious given this context.

In my opinion 5 or so percent is justifiable for the product. Of course people will want lower.

Hey,
Any updates for the cards you were going to giveaway to the campaign members? I am really looking forward to use this card, would be pretty awesome.
And I enrolled for the free cards(for campaign members) a long time ago, but never got a request/ never came to know that when are you going to send the card.
Any info?

Also, is card issuance and activation both free for campaign members?

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

Wouldn't it be better if instead of charging 0.01BTC for each online/offline transaction we make through your card, it would be nicer to charge like 1-3% of what you spend.
That would be more appropriate and would allow people to use card even for using that card for small things, else I wouldn't like to use that card on amazon to buy something which will cost around 20-40$(because the fee would be too high).

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

These fees are ridiculous really. I know that bit-x need to  earn some money from it and not act like Santa Claus but this amount of fees are hard to chew on. The reason I am using bitcoin is exactly to make bank and processing fee disappear completely or significant lower them. Why should I pick up bitcoin debit card when it does exactly the opposite - increase my fees while doing bitcoin transaction? It is flawed logic imo.

When were the cards for the previous signature campaign participants shipped? I had filled out the form and was asked for my shipping address. But its been a lot of time and I haven't received any card yet. Waiting for it to arrive.

They were shipped out around a week ago, some participants have received their cards already.

You sent me this message on 13 April-

Hi!

If you're getting this PM, you were interested in getting a free Bit-X Debit MasterCard!

Please fill out this form: *a_link* with the necessary details.

Your card will be sent tomorrow (if you fill it within 15 hours from now).

Regards,
Marco

So the message said that my card was to be shipped by 14th April. So did my card also got shipped a week ago or was it shipped last month? I hope I was included in the ones who will be getting the card cuz I was there in the campaign when you asked for the details.

Stay hungry. Stay foolish.

I got my card this week and activated it on the site a few hours ago. Do keep in mind 0.05 btc will be deducted from your balance in order to activate the card Smiley

(this is not a complaint btw, just a general warning)

Just used my card for an ATM and POS transaction, worked perfectly! I will check on the user account side now for those transaction details and will post further in a moment. Very happy with the card up to now Smiley.

Ran into a bit of an issue with an order on Banggood.com. The money was debited from my bit-X card, yet Banggood says they never received the money & payment was declined.

Keeping an eye on the situation to see if it will sort itself or not.

Not yet, was wondering whether or not the issue was with Banggood (it happened before) but apparently it's not on their side.

Will contact bit-X support now.

It seems like Your screenshot is from a Notification Page.
Please check Your transactions section instead (on Your balance page).
There must be mining transaction for 21.07.
This transaction wasn't followed by any notification, that's why You don't see it there.

Best Regards.
