For clarification - are new wallets being released that will easily sync with the network using saved data from the previous wallets?
I understand that there is a workaround, but honestly I don't have time to join another community in order to figure out how to locate and edit conf files, all so that my wallet will work like it is supposed to. I have no problem being patient, but to say that the current wallet is the working wallet is not a good answer.

Here's a tip. Stay the fuck away from cryptos that are in development stages if you can't handle not getting daily updates..
I can't believe the infantile comments I had to read through over ECC not meeting their expectations..

Working Block explorer : Not yet Working Exchange : Not yet New Wallet supposed to fix problems : No release date The above are not expectations, they are requirements to claim you have a working coin. Dev is really dropping the ball on being professional here. That is not an expectation that is a fact. This coin is basically dead until the dev fixes these issues. Will note , the dev is making commits almost constantly to the github, but at the moment the coin is unusable and has been so for weeks. So for the moment ECC is a dead coin, and that can not be denied. ╥Aztek Actually, we have working explorers https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ecc/, currently syncing, release dates just cause frustration if missed, and the Dev is working full time as well as working on ECC in hours between sleeping and earning a living. Before you tell us what you "expect", why not tell us what you have done to help this project. Or, if you have any skills, perhaps offer to assist.

How about you ass kissing, forum dwellers mind your own business? They bought the coin, they have every right to complain about these issues. Why do you care? It bothers you that someone is not satisfied with something they purchased? Stop getting emotionally attached to coins, you look pathetic. You're not even affiliated with the coin at all. Just because you're fine with the current situation doesn't mean we all have to feel the same!

Just because you're fine with the current situation doesn't mean we all have to feel the same! Hummm.. It's not entirely clear from your post who you are attacking, so: If it's me, than this applies: If your talking to me you little dipshit, you have no idea how things really work here. I don't kiss anyone's ass but I have been known to beat a few belonging to little punks such as you. I hold millions of ECC and I have spent real money to help this project so, I suggest you crawl back under the bridge with the rest of the trolls and continue to pull you own pud until someone puts you out of your misery. If it's the other guy than, this applies: People need to be patient in situations like this. If you hold ECC, I can sympathize with you and, if you don't, perhaps you could help out in some way. Choice is yours. Either way, the problems will get fixed, I'm sure of that. Have a nice day!

For my part, I can tell, that the dev is working hard on every aspect. And also there is a little but nice communicty, which is growing also.
You people should not always criticize, you should think about how you can help instead. Else you should leave in silence.
For my part, I did nothing else, as buying into and holding, even after price is just 1/3 as before. Even if it does to 1, I won´t sell. Even if I loose those BTCs I invested. It does not matter, because of respect to the hard work, some people do here. If it´s failing, it´s on me, as I am old enough to know that investing into such a little thing always is on risk. I would not cry or being angry.
So I can not understand this level of agression some people have. It´s everybodys own decission. No promises, no contracts. Everyone is responsible for own investments.
And now I am going to buy some more, as I still believe that the large amount of work has been done, not to see it fail, but to have at the end a success-story to tell.

www.Bitcoin-Tools.de - Price Alert & Calculator [OUTDATED!] A little tool to keep you informed or wake you up, if Mt.Gox reaches a defined price level and a calculator to convert BTC or USD based on live Prices. It´s not working any more, because of Mt.Gox... but it was fun to code that time... keeping this link just for reminding... Thanks to everyone for donations done that time! Im pretty much stuck as well. The last time I synced was in 2014 i guess... when the coin was called Easy Clear coin. Has there been a fork after that? I cant sync using the old wallet because there are no nodes. The new wallet is non functional just like for the other users... the deamon not connecting and the GUI throwing up that same alert window. Is there a mac wallet address that I can try? The one linked to on the website is non existent. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

Old wallet from 2014 will not get any connections!!!! You will need to update to the new wallet. For now there is NO wallet for MAC. Due to the difference in logos between this Announcement and the Coin exchange website, am I right to assume a logo change will occur at some point? I've had a dabble with some logo designs either way as I like design. I check this forum often as I like the commitment and updates I see posted on here from the devs and even if my designs aren't well received I'm happy to be holding ECC and will do for a long time. http://imgur.com/a/RcLxR

Wallet keeps getting stuck on 1498220. Does anyone have a solution besides re-syncing?
