it is unprofessional to give a release date in software development because they are almost never met the wallet has been completely renewed and a team of 20 people have tested it thoroughly bugs have been reported and are being fixed, secondary tests are made and we are on the verge of wallet release from then on website will be fixed, Coinexchange wallet will be fixed and on to the roadmap. have some patience and buy at discounted prices

In the Hobby world, you live in maybe, In the Real world , deadlines are made and completed in time. The Doctor that finishes your operation before you bleed to death. The Journalist that gets the story in so it can be aired on time. The sixth grader that turns in his homework the next day. A deadline is a goal, not setting goals to have a task completed , usually infers it never will be. I do believe that one day your wallet will be working again, but to be honest , the longer it takes the less anyone may care. And just to put things in perspective, it was an update from the dev that broke everything. It was all working before his last update. I doubt anyone of you , get your car worked on , and when you ask the mechanic when it will be ready, and the mechanic replies it is unproffesional to give you a time as we probably won't have it ready by then. Which means you can't make future plans , because you have no information to plan from. A professional , knows his craft well enough to set a date and meet it. ╥Aztek Well said...nothing is the world can be unlimited time..for example human is also born in limited time which is 9 months...a mango tree start giving fruit in 2-3 years..Thus a timlime should be provided and met with or else there is no point in doing your stuff.

Also, you people in denial of the situation are just not helping the project (maybe just trolling, good job in that case)

That is true....a lot of comments but doing what themselves is to much to ask. In the meanwhile we will keep on working on the subject, meeting deadlines or not we will do the work. Maybe you could also start to comment on the new iPhone, that also has a deadline.....ohhhh it will be delayed and because of that the world will end. http://bgr.com/2017/07/21/iphone-8-release-date-delayed-world-is-ending-save-yourself/

LOL, so much true. I would not bother with people that do not have anything useful to add to posts. To be positive is much more useful than the other way around, even when criticising. So, for anyone just trolling, see ya! And go have some fun... trolling is a waste of your and our time! So when you are doing it... think about the objective of it! Are you achieving something? no right... then you are just being wasted... and wasting others time. Puff!

Nothing but excuses and a broken site and wallet. Nothing works.
ECC and Cryptounited are the ones wasting peoples time and money.

Patience is a risky business... but only you can decide on what and where to spend time and money, so I guess it's really a personal thing. I must admit, coming to bitcointalk to see comments that are not in any way helpful or that add no value to the bitcoin-talk forum, that is a waste! I would even consider my own comment (like this one) waste... but I felt I could help in some weird way. Hopeless if not. Anyway, have fun mate! Life is short.

Plus, have you guys noticed that the roadmap graphic has been blatantly taken from the EGC coin logo? (the name sounds oddly similar, too) Back to 1 sat... very soon.

Ya ECC is a scam. These guys are crypto scammers. Nothing but lies and excuses.
Crypto United and ECC and Greg Griffith are scammers. Greg Griffith is not even a real name.
Im not a troll. I lost money on this vaporware and my only reason for posting here is to warn others.

Upgrading the wallet without having to delete the old chains that will not be synchronized. If you're just about to try to restart your wallet, your computer will be stuck or it will die, that's it.

Could you explain this advice to me? Because this make no sense at all!! 1.) There has not been any advice of deleting any old chains at all. 2.) Computer dying or being stuck? Not with our wallet 3.) Keeping your wallet to the latest version.....yes, that is necessary. We do upgrades to the wallets and will force YOU to update as well, by telling the new wallets NOT to connect to older versions any more. This we do for SAFETY reasons, we don't want you to loose your coins.

Maybe it would be wise to say... or pin a post, saying this is in development and accepts NO warranties or any kind of promises, just like EOS =). So people stop thinking "vaporware"...
=) people just don't understand that their lack of experience doesn't come with any kind of insurance on crypto...

Hello, I'm new to ECC. I bought 850 000 unit. It appear to be a solid project, even if some troubles. Do you know if there is some possibility this coin hit 1$ one day ? Thanks

Because the complexity of the problems that may show up are way over the current state of the human brain's capacity of prediction. In Agile development, for example, there is Kanban, a method of working. This is based on doing as much as you can, but not exactly predict when it is done. Also, it also adds if they work on the project part time. Again, prediction can be done, but not precisely, and people might have other matters on their heads... Nobody gives you any warranty, don't buy if you don't trust, just stop flaming.
