Circulating Supply: 24,860,298,436 ECC In the sell wall at coin exchange: 480,484,417 Total Supply: Unknown A lot of coins, and where are the rest of the coins (excluding the HODL-ers) because relatively speaking it is a small fraction from the circulating supply? Probably stuck in people's wallets. I think i spent 3-4 weeks mining ECC with 6-8 GPUs at one point in 2014, so i have a lot of them tied up. But since the old wallet won't sync, i can't do any trading. Interested to see how the price goes once the new wallet is out. UP because of progress signs, or DOWN because of unleashing these coins? Done, thanks! If you look at the numbers of coins in wallets vs numbers held on the exchange, you will conclude that the price will fall substantially. It seems such an obvious outcome. Don't worry if it drops to 2 or 3 sats. Could be worth buying, depending on how development is proceeding, and how good the new wallet is. Patience is important.

Thanks for the update. Don't rush it. ECC has been around for years : a few extra weeks are worth the wait for a nice GUI wallet.

Once daemon issue is fixed, dev can focus on usecases, and considering he is going to be working full time soon, I think updates will come quite often.

Yeah, I interpreted EdgarJohn's comment on Aug 11 to mean a wallet release would happen at any moment. Thanks for the update --- best success with the testing.

"... i think you got testing confused with finished" That was an Epic comeback... well played. it wasnt really a comback although it may seem like it. over the years I have found that a lot of people assume testing means done when it comes to programming just because we usually think of testing as the final stage before release. which it is, but that is only true if testing goes well. otherwise it loops us back around to the development stages

Look at the example of Thomas Edison, regarding to light bulb... He knew he were close, so tested quite a lot, till get the result he needed. Now imagine he had a lot of people behind him, saying all the time: "C'mon, man! Is it ready? Release it!" - I know we will get there. It's just a matter of time.
