I am having issues getting sync on the lynx wallet. I have followed the instructions and it just says "Loading block index...".

When I let it auto generate a new wallet it starts to sync, but when I add my old wallet it won't sync.

Are old wallets not longer compatible, or is this something I am doing wrong?

I had similar problem.
Maybe you have an old wallet that need to be converted and upgraded.
Check the log file.

New logo already out, as you can see in https://ecc.network and coinmarketcap (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/eccoin/ )
Just Coinexchange didnt change it yet...

Marketing will kick in after new website is ready

I left it overnight and got about 2% sync, I set a wallet password this morning under the security tab and the sync stopped and i'm getting "Internal Server Error" now, even after a restart.

Can anybody help?

It is syncing since 2 days and I am roughly at 2%.

I made a transaction from coinexchange to my wallet 2 days ago.
I hope this transaction will not be lost.

The wallet does take quite some time to sync for the first few percents, but don't worry it should speed up after a while.
Regarding your transaction, it should go through as soon as the wallet will be fully synced; your coins are not lost

You need to go at C:\Users\$user$\.eccoin-daemon

Managed to load it. Seems like it is going to take ages to download the blockchain.

Another issue, I replaced my wallet.dat with my previous wallet. When launching the wallet it modifies the wallet.dat file to a new one.

Any idea how to prevent it from happening and use my old wallet file?

Hello guys, sorry for my bad english, i'm totally new to this cripto. I bought some of them on coinexchange but i was pretty scared to let them on that website so i tryed to install the wallet.
Daemon runs but the syncing is very slow.. something like 0.25% in 10 minutes, maybe i did something wrong?
I opened the Receive tab and created, for mistake. 3 links and used one of them to send 10 ECC (a little number just for a try) from coinexchange but no one came into the wallet, i must wait until Sync it's completed or i'm doing something wrong??

Hello,

Syncing the wallet take less than 48 hours.
You can join us on slack via the website.
It's normal because you need to reach the block of your withdraw to see your coin on your wallet.

Thank you very much for your asnwer, sorry for losing your time but i have some other questions, just if you want to answer..
1st question. So i have to complete the sync to see or to transfer the coins on the wallet?
2nd If i turn off my desktop the sync will go back to 0?
3rd When we will see ECC on a good exchange? like Binance or Bittrex..
