This site is a SCAM! I lost $60 to this site. Ugh. I sent the PayPal funds 24 hours ago and nothing has appeared in my wallet. https://blockchain.info/address/1HL8wHoMZpFUkJxzRQth3VpHehcLJie5WB

I always get scammed :/

I remember Virwox also offered a service that would let you buy BTC over paypal but it was very limited. Usually is not a good idea to use paypal to buy BTC even tho is the quickest way afaik.

Never heard of that site before. I'd avoid using paypal to buy/sell any bitcoin regardless of the amount, there's just too much risk involved. The most tried and tested way is virwox but even that seems a lot of hassle when you can just use sites like localbitcoins.

I don't have the adv of using paypal in our country but some of pal uses some other sites, and those are cheaper in transaction and conversion rate. Smiley

And not risk-free as well. Why risk your money and reputation, buying Bitcoin from such shady sites? I don't know why this obsession with Paypal is there. Why don't use Localbitcoins and buy the BTC directly?

except that not everyone feels safe about meeting and exchanging hundreds of dollars for bitcoin with a stranger.

I do agree that there's better options than paypal out there, though.

Yes, its a nice wordpress site  Grin

I once tried another site to purchase with paysafe card, was a scam of course. No trust in such sites any more.

Well.... meet the buyer at a public place (such as a cafeteria or a library), and there is hardly any chance that he will rob you. Also, the reputation is quite a big thing with Localbitcoins. None of the established sellers would risk their reputation for a few hundred USD.

very bad for a claim to send it within 5 minutes maybe they are praying for a bigger purchase, I think that is why they were so confused.  dont let them game you.  They wouldn't risk that little to be calling out a scam.
