Greetings GameCredits community!
We are pleased to announce several improvements and projects that we have been working on for some time now.
From the time that the GameCredits Foundation took over the development of gamers-coin, we have renamed it to Gamecredits, which more accurately portrays our goals and the purpose of the coin, which has always been to be an in-game token system that has real value. We believe this can be a truly unique coin, as we are not aiming at the cryptocurrency market as our main focus. It is our goal to make this coin the one that breaks through to the mainstream.
To that goal, we have kept a fairly low profile for some time, working out both problems that we inherited from the old code, bugs in the new code, and as most of you know, one really major breakdown. Our team says to you, with great pride, that we have overcome every obstacle we've encountered. Some you know about. Some you don't want to know about.
So, without further ado, we shall pull back the curtain, just a bit, and give you all a peek into what we've been up to.
First off, We now have an official forum. We invite you all to join and participate!
Official GameCredits Forum . While we can do a lot of stuff behind the scenes, ultimately, you are the GMC community, and we want you to join us in making that a strong, vibrant, and profitable community! Whether you are a gamer, developer, investor, or spectator, there is the opportunity to help us shape the future, not just of GameCredits, but of gaming and perhaps even beyond that.
The first question we asked ourselves whe we started developing GameCredits as a gamer's coin was: “How do we present the functionality and advantages of GameCredits to the world at large?”
As it turns out, the answer was easy. Show them. So, now we're going to show you!
We have teamed up with experts in the gaming development field, and started working on a few of our own games. These games are not merely to illustrate the value of GMC, they're going to be entertaining and exciting games in their own right, with GMC integration being only a component of their functionality. You'll soon be welcomed to test one of our new games, and it's a very fun arcade game. But in the meantime, feast your eyes on the trailer for the centerpiece of our gaming efforts to date! This won't be the first released, as it is much more complex than the first one or two we're putting out. Instead, this is the one that we hope will catapult us into the mainstream, or at least get their attention!
Sincerely,
The GameCredits Foundation.
