Honestly why I see the contradiction with this user name but no one needs to knock NEM its going to fizzle out by itself. It has no innovation anyone cares about. POI FUCK OFFFFF. ANy coin these days needs to bring something new to the table, the window of just any boring coin getting cared about are OVER.

Its vol will decline and it will stay at sub 20th place on Coinmarketcap.

I'd hate to be negative but I have to admit this is possible. Unfortunately, history has been very unkind to new source coins especially those that have some connection with NXT. NAS is dead. NFD is dead. NHZ is barely alive. Qora is forgotten. Same with Crypti and NODE. The last one is particularly worrying because out of all the coins out there, NODE is probably the one that has the most similarities to NEM in that they both started off as NXT clones but later became new source coins.

Then again, Litecoin was $0.07 at January 2013 and spent most of 2013 losing value from only to suddenly skyrocket when Bitcoin prices also skyrocketed so you never really know what might happen a couple of years from now. Much of NEM's success probably hinges on whether or not cryptos as a whole will succeed.

where to find the official NEM topic?

Node fucked up by only being on BTer when it died and making zero effort in engaging people beyond its thread. The developers are still simmering away but they don't seem to understand that people other than themselves actually have to get involved.

NEM is extremely different in that aspect. No idea what'll become of it, but there is at least a decent amount of passion and support and that's something that no coding can offer.

NODE was front page promotion on BTER and it was heading up to 150 Satoshi before the BTER hack occurred.  NODE at that rate was going to hit $1+ million capitalization, which it never did before, not what you'ld call a dying coin.

Anyway what's the point of making a coin expensive before your main features are online?  If NODE developers are Ukrainian then they'ld want to suppress the capitalization as much as possible to give their relatives and friends an opportunity to buy (average monthly income is now under $500 in Ukraine because of the inflation, people make less than factory workers in China).

You can use this to spam txs, it uses Nickel, a set of tools written in python to interact directly with NIS. I have only used this on Linux and it might need some libs installed, just run it and if any errors install missing libs.

Download Nickel: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=33119505436068887222

In the folder there is a script called nickel, just add the private key for the account from which you are spamming from and put in the address of the account to where the spam is going, ie:

python ./nickel.py send 0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef0123456789abcdef NBCNGAGUEGFBY2SUV4Z66ZSOENJ4GGBF52J3DI6N 8000000
The 8000000 means 8 XEM will be sent.

The fee for txs is set in NemConnect.py and it is set for 2 XEM, it can be changed if you like.

Create two wallets, put some XEM in one of them and spam to the other wallet, when first wallet is empty then spam from the second wallet back to the first wallet. Repeat. You will only be losing 2 XEM a txs so it is pretty cheap.

If your computer can't handle the 1 sec txs speed it can be changed in the nickel script.

Edit:node must be BOOTED to execute any nickel commands
Edit #2: If you have a wallet with a good POI score then make sure you are harvesting from that wallet but don't spam from it, you might be able to recover your txs fees from harvesting.
