It's going to be a great day for Bitcoin through a foundation of sorts.

No, we shouldn't trust him. We should study the source code and reject any sketchy changes he might make by forking everything and ditching bitcoin.org. Gavin would have to be crazy to make any sketchy protocol changes. He would be throwing away his prominent position as the lead Satoshi client developer. I don't care how many government agencies he is or is not in bed with, the blockchain and the protocol rules aren't going anywhere.

He has visited the CIA and he has pushed a major unproven, protocol change before. He seemed very impatient last time. Are we going to give him due diligence with his new software updates this time around?

Should we just trust him?

what you're a dick.

Define 'sketchy protocol changes'.
Anything that threatens the decentralized nature of Bitcoin.

you're an idiot. Gavin is one of main, visible and outspoken proponents of this decentralized crypro-currency.

And a proud supporter of the CIA and other government oversight over Bitcoin.

this is an open source project.

Wouldn’t you like to ease into your trollface a little bit? No reason to put on the full mask straight away. The talent here requires a slightly more subtle approach.
No trolling.

I just want Bitcoin safe and secure.

Yeah, this is ridiculous, there is nothing wrong with those CIA connections.  There is nothing to fear from more government involvement in Bitcoin.

Silence and submission leads to tyranny.

Mr. Andresen would support this thread anyhow.

Just another Atlas?

All I can say is that this is Bitcoin. I don't believe it until I see six confirmations.

I respect that right of his.

Oh shit, Atlas is that you?

I know who you are talking about. I am a friend of his actually.

You mean you are another one of the voices that live in his head?
He lives with two people and he is both of them?
