I am giving away 1 mBTC to the person who can guess the number I have in mind
The number is between 1 and 1.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000.000
I will answer any yes/no question.
Only 1 question at a time and you are only allowed to post when you aren't the last poster.
If you play it smart you should be able to guess the number in not too many guesses

hash of the number : 7e8f7d4a1e0007d444c2d310e7f4d9c743f0fa59c86ba440590b415ec024dc9f

If you take your number, square it (multiply it by itself), add that square to your original number, divide that by your original number, then add 17, subtract your original number and divide by 6, is the result (but not your original number) 3?

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

Can you send the funds in escrow and make a hash of your number, so we can verify you didn't cheat?

If you do that, I'll give it a try. The answer can be guessed within 140 guesses.

how do i make a hash?

Go to this website: http://www.xorbin.com/tools/sha256-hash-calculator
Fill in the exact number with some extra random letters and numbers in order to prevent people to bruteforce it.
It should look something like this

Code:
*yournumber* AK$t4tsl445 (any random letters and numbers)

Keep those letters and numbers, so if we can't guess it right, you'll be able to prove that we indeed didn't guess the number right.

If you've filled it all in, copy the sha-256 hash, and post it here.

way too easy to cheat then. programs exist which can test many millions of hashes per second. there's also precomputed hashes available as rainbow tables.

That's the point of the random characters at the end. That's so you can guarantee that the hash hasn't been pre-computed and isn't likely to be cracked.

1042 different probability and there're 1070 different public private keys.
Also your number is a valid private key. If I were you I would do that;
- (probably it's in base10) convert it into base16
- go to here; https://brainwallet.github.io/#generator and click secret exponent tab
- base16 number to Secret Exponent
- load the pub key and share it with us Grin

if someone finds the number then (s)he will get the prize Smiley

Allright, quoting this so you can't change it.

Now please send the 1 BTC to a trusted escrow. If you've done that, we can start talking.
