Well why dont u use gmail (google mail) and dont type your phone number? it does not matter

i use hotmail, i believe the option for a phone is optional, i have a gamil account but frankly i don't like the design :/

I am using both gmail and Yahoo and like them, you do need to provide your phone number but there are plenty of online numbers for verification etc...

i am using yahoo for mail and it is asking me for phone number all the time but i just skip the step. I don’t see the reason why I should  provide them with my phone number, The mail is functioning great without the phone number verification

You can avoid using a cellphone in Yahoo as far as I know,I think most of public e-mail providers won't ask for phone number to be confirmed unless you register from a suspicious IP like a known Tor exit node or a proxy etc...
