Hi,
I'm new to BTC. I'm in Singapore right now, and I want to buy some BTCs. Mt Gox only open to US user.
Anybody can help?

Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

Mt Gox is open to international users through international wire transfers. You need to email them, and then they will give you the wiring instructions.

I'm a bit hesitate to deal with him. Just because of the price or other reservations? at 1.2x I would take my chances with however long it takes at MtGox, hard to say though. There are a lot of people who saw the price move 100% on them while waiting for funds to move. Does the guy in Singapore want to meet in person? Maybe agree to a small amount and then see if he wants to do more at a better rate when the cash is right there? Even if he doesn't at least you get some quickly. Good luck. |

Yes, I meet the guy with my laptop and give him the money. He transfered the BTCs on the mybitcoin.com to my account. Then I transfered to my own account. |
