even if this is a strange question, how about this.

he have seen 100s of useless altcoin passed, looked at NXT and discovered:

1. devs ALWAYS deliver
2. tons of usage scenarios
3. clever and ambitious userspace with interdisciplinary skills
4. has all other coins like to have
5. mass adoptable due to widest functionality in crypto space
6. many very forward-looking projects from high skilled side devs
7. and most important, usable now

there is more but does this makes sense?

u know what? that makes sense. and its true that nxt tech is very good
BUT one thing.
its utterly inpopular and nobody uses it.
thats a real pity. like that it wont go anywhere
it will remain hidden and unused if nothing is changed about real life use of this thing
add more and more tech: ppl wont care more bcuz u add yet another feature ...
right now its safe to say that nxt is a sleeping beast.
but it will probably keep sleeping and sleeping if nxt guys think all that is enough to REALLY shine. its not.

yes, that's a point. it would be a shame if this fine tech would keep sleeping just due to misunderstandings or false accusations.

 Evil Dave is another Dutchmen, covered in tats and probably already has spent his NXT on prostitutes, meth and crack.  Hey ain't nothing wrong with that, that isn't any different from typical lotto winner.  

Clearly crypto currency is sociological experiment to see what people do with overnight millions and the answer is: instead of helping others or building an economy, they spend it on vice.

You know NXT whales, before price went down, probably cashed out several tens of millions?  What is there to show for it today?  Nothing.     They have more financial resources than Ethereum and yet do nothing for NXT - shows they care nothing about NXT, so why should subsequent investors?  Each time NXT rebounds one of the whales, the slower ones who couldn't cash out on time a year ago, dumps it back down.

If the whales don't care for NXT and want to see it dead - why should you care?

i think its fair to say that daedelus is protecting nxt like it was his own real child
he is very protective in many ways towards it. now dont get me wrong i like nxt too obviously
but its always interesting 4 me to see that some fascinating ppl see cryptocoins like them own blood offspring

because he may be BCNext ,the founder of Nxt.

Isn't Daedelus a NXT dev? Whenever I see someone who is knowledgeable and intelligent and yet mostly posts about one coin, then I usually assume they are one of the devs.

And yeah, NXT is a cool coin. No doubt about it. The distribution is the biggest criticism but the technology is innovative, the development seems pretty solid, and it's not a cut-and-paste clone of Litecoin like 99% of the other altcoins that were popular at the time.
