NiceHash multi-algorithm solo mining pool & blockchain lottery. Cross your fingers to get a full 12.5 Bitcoin, 25 Litecoin or dynamic Dash block reward! - NiceHash solo mining & blockchain lottery is an advanced multi-algorithm stratum based solo mining pool for Bitcoin, Litecoin and Dash. You can use it as a regular solo mining pool by connecting your miners to our solo mining stratum servers. Moreover you can also rent hashing power on NiceHash/WestHash and point it to our solo mining stratum servers and play some blockchain lottery.
- If you find a block, 99.5% of the block reward + transaction fees get generated directly at your address. Therefore there is no login, no need to worry about passwords, withdrawals, authentication or pool wallet hacks. No funds are kept by pool but are rather directly generated to your address.
Connect your miners or rented hashing power from NiceHash/ WestHash to: stratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3334 for Bitcoinstratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3333 for Litecoinstratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3336 for DashYou should use you Bitcoin/Litecoin/Dash address as worker username and any password. You can add worker name by adding ".workername" at the tail of your Bitcoin/Litecoin/Dash address; example: stratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3334 -u yourAddress.Worker1 -p x If you enter an invalid address you will be rejected (authorization error). Make sure you use valid/existing address when connecting! The pool fee is 0.5%. If you find a block, 99.5% of the block reward + transaction fee rewards get generated directly at your address. The main stratum pool code is based on ckpool, therefor 10% of our fee for Bitcoin mining is directly donated to Con Kolivas BTC address 148KkS2vgVi4VzUi4JcKzM2PMaMVPi3nnq as contribution for his work on stratum pool core development. Each time a new block is found a notification will be automatically posted to Twitter @NiceHashSolo - https://twitter.com/NiceHashSolo: therefore you're welcome to follow us on Twitter @NiceHashSolo

If you enter an invalid address it will be ignored and earnings will be donated to the pool. Make sure you use valid/existing address!
I think I like the way CK has his solo pool set up that if you try and mine with a invalid address your rejected....sure would hate to think someone would find a block only to not get rewarded.

Not to bite the hand that feeds me as I am paid for the signature by nice hash. I suggest that some invalid address check be used. Even if you fill a pot with coins of 'dumb' miner errors and give it as a promo to anyone mining with you. Each solo block gets half the mistaken coins and you keep the other half. I will send some hash at your solo pool in a few minutes.

That would be awful... nicehash, how does the pool handle a scenario like this where a block is found but the address to which the reward is to be sent is invalid? Are there any checks in place to alert a miner that the address.worker construct is not correct?

the miner with a wrong address would not find a block as I understand this. I would think his hashrate would be proxied to a subset of wrong hash and no one would know if it was rented if it hit a solo block Here is my rental and I know the address is valid

Yes unless I am reading it wrong I also see it that way, that a miner could be mining and never know he is not going to get the block if he finds one. That is why I pointed it out, as I have copied and paste a wallet address before and some how missed a digit.

I am renting a bit in the solo pool I paid for the rental at westhash and it is order number Order Type Status Price BTC/TH/Day Remaining BTC ETA hours Limited TH/s Miners Speed TH/s #318636 Standard Alive 0.0103 0.03248520 17.16 5.00 4 4.4122 It is one more option of renting and mining which is good. I will still use ck's pool here I am http://solo.ckpool.org/users/1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53Vbtjeand here I am selling hash to nicehash https://www.nicehash.com/?p=miners&a=1&addr=1JdC6Xg3ajT3rge3FgPNSYYFpmf53VbtjeIf you look at this closely there is a method to what I am doing. So I like the new option. I would like very much that a bad btc addy is dealt with in a nicer manner for miners. I do like that I can use the 3 sites in a way that favors me if I am patient. Most likely my method above will end up how I mine at home.

Sure, we're already working on address validator for all three coins (we have to modify code at a few places) so that invalid addresses will be rejected at authorization. Thanks for the feedback!

A) you told us the current setup thank you for that. B) you are efforting a fix thank you for that. I like the new option here is why: I am using nicehash to rent 2.3th to you At 0.0106 It rolls over to ck's solo pool I am solo mining with westhash at your new solo section at 0.0099 So basically I am doing solo mining at a slight discount. still hard but just a little better odds for me then mining solo with ck alone

That's good news for folks that want to play the lottery... hate to have the winning numbers but lose the ticket

We added two features: 1. If you enter an invalid address you will be rejected (authorization error). So no more "lost lottery tickets" Make sure you use valid/existing address when connecting! 2. You can set preferred mining difficulty. Our system is using vardiff and will automatically adjust optimal difficulty for your miner. Nevertheless you can set custom preferred difficulty by setting diff_xxx in your worker password, example for Bitcoin pool: stratum+tcp://stratum.solo.nicehash.com:3334 -u yourAddress.Worker1 -p diff_2048

Would you mind updating the original post to reflect this as well? It currently states that if you connect with an invalid address and find a block the proceeds will be donated to the pool. Also, I'd like to give you a +1 for this: The main stratum pool code is based on ckpool, therefor 10% of our fee for Bitcoin mining is directly donated to Con Kolivas BTC address 148KkS2vgVi4VzUi4JcKzM2PMaMVPi3nnq as contribution for his work on stratum pool core development.
Con/kano deserve to be compensated for the work they've done and continue to do for the community. Very nicely done, nicehash!

Yeah I saw it in my pool popup when it happened ... but I wasn't sure if it was you or not. ckpool UNKNOWN: "hash" : "000000000000000009bc29f1216fa5243bcb7cd10e06ef954b1802cadbc6a060", "size" : 386866, "height" : 352116, "difficulty" : 49446390688.24143982,
Would be good if you added a "btcsig" to the ckpool conf file like everyone else does: "/Kano" - "/solo.ckpool.org" - "/BitClub" As it stands your coinbase sig just says "ckpool", which is in all the coinbase sigs of the pools that use ckpool that haven't removed "ckpool" from the code.

We implemented 1day/7days/30days graph stats per pool / user / worker. This gives you the ability to get user friendly insight into pool/user/worker current and past statistics. Enjoy!
