you have to create the /src/obj and /src/obj/zerocoin directory.  I'm nearly done compiling it.

I believe the following may fix it but I have to start compile from the beginning so going to take a while to find out.

I'm pretty sure these errors are because the source was zipped instead of downloaded direct from github like usual.

need to change permissions.              
cd src/leveldb
chmod +x build_detect_platform

should you attempt earlier unsuccesful compile, it can break later compile.
 
make clean -f makefile.unix
