Really, what is going on with the hashrate? Did someone found a way to merge mine Dashcoin? Is it even technologically possible?
(Marketcap is at ATH: 42,000$)

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

One could argue that given two identical technologies, people will prefer the legit project. And if we accept that, the fact that the scammy project has a higher market cap underscores its scaminess. |

Hello all,
I have tried sending DSH to both exchanges and nothing is showing up. The wallet shows the money successfully sent. Where could the problem be? It has been about one hour. Is there a lag time at the exchanges or am I doing something wrong? I only sent small amounts as a test.
Everything looks good in my simplewallet including the balance with the spent coins that haven't shown up in the exchanges.

Have you checked for your transaction in a block explorer? You could send to yourself just to test it. Or the donation address  |

Did my original wallet address change when I updated it? or maybe it was an old address of mine I had on file. Anyways, I sent 10 DSH to myself and it never showed up and when I found a different address from the command line in my current wallet, I sent more there and it arrived.
It looks like I have myself partially figured out however no DSH showed up in my wallets at Polo and Hit.

You better contact the exchanges support. If you see them confirmed in the blockchain (i.e. they are included in a block) the problem is on their side. |

Dashcoin is a good coin IMO and when more people realize this, the price has to go up. Supply and demand. It's a Cryptonote with no premine unlike Bytecoin. I mined this coin near the beginning and thought I was having issues upgrading to the new wallet when I brought my DSH out of cold storage. After it synced, everything showed up. Also, XMR has had a good rise recently and because DSH trades for XMR on POLO, the price is rising.  |

Greetings, Deystorm that page refers to DASH the former darkcoin former xcoin ... they copied dashcoin's name and tried to kill this coin hence the confusion around.. anyway there are two exchanges at the OP, at poloniex the price is 0.002 XMR or 0.0000046 BTC (if your convert XMR to BTC) at hitbtc the price is 0.000006 BTC or somewhere around 0.002 $ per coin |
