The low hashrate is becoming a real problem. What do you guys think about adopting Karbowanec solution? We can jump directly on one of versions in development:

Oh my godness, a block found 7 hours ago... The hashrate is too low but the difficulty is too high.

Yes, I think DSH dev must adopt some solution to let the coin continues. I don't know much about setting up the difficulty but I have a question: Why the difficulty did not put network hash into calculation?

They changed the difficulty algorithm to Zawy difficulty algorithm v1.0. It deals with nicehash attacks. Read the link to get more info about the improvement in progress. It's very impressive.

Algo change?
DSH will be not direct copy of BCN and its good, but...

We will have to have a dev, who will support DSH code.
Could you do this?

We got support for Zawy difficulty algorithm v1 since Bytecoin core v1.0.11 in the generator and in Forknote. It shouldn't be a big deal.
We are planning to move a lot of Forknote coins to the Zawy difficulty algorithm in very near future. Also it will be the default algorithm in new Forknote coins
Please guys leave your input here

Also, people who want to access their coins on the minergate chain will have it as option in Forknote within a few days.

Dear Trader,

Thank you for reaching out and informing us. HitBtc.com supports the chain with the higher hash rate, the most safe for our users. Happy trades!

Seems democats pool work fine now.

So I can confirm - hitbtc is using Minergate branch of Dashcoin chain.

We definitely must rebrand DSH coin and change the ticker, force Hitbtc to list our DSH and credit account with amounts, equal to old DSH volume.

Who can suggest our DSH new name, better than DSH Classic or classic Dashcoin? Smiley
We need help!

Is it possible to trade Dashcoin somewhere now? I have found only Cryptopia, but they have the wallet in status Maintenance and I don't know if that is a temporary issue or they stopped the trading...
Where did you find that HitBTC is on the other blockchain? Is it possible to verify it somewhere before sending the coins?

The issue with Cryptopia is temporal. In the next version we will have replay attack protection and then Cryptopia will resume deposits

Hello guys,

Please express your opinions about renaming. We must have naming strategy before the next release, which will unlock Cryptopia. We must differentiate from Minergate's fork one way or another.

Renaming Dashcoin is a good idea. Are we going to change the ticker or only name. I think we can't change the ticker.
