Not knowing the Cryptopia wallet is under maintenance, I transferred DSH from minergate to Cryptopia. Will it be deposited after wallet starts working.

No, Minergate is on the chain with tens of millions DSH double spent. How you deposited? You got your deposit info saved somewhere? I thought it's common sense always to copy from the website when deposit, since exchanges can change their addresses

Well, changing anything (or something) about dashcoin, You will give full right to darkcoin to become "The True Dash".

Please express your opinions about renaming. We must have naming strategy before the next release, which will unlock Cryptopia. We must differentiate from Minergate's fork one way or another.
We MUST rename DSH. And force hitbtc transfer us real coins, not MG shit.

I have seen follow names at the last pages - The True Dash Dashcoin Classic Classic Dashcoin dashX xdash ddashSo guys, should we keep " dash" root in the coin name or we will change totally? In the second case we will have much more interesting and euphonious names. Yellow Cryptonote - sounds very cool And ticker YCN still not occupied.

What steps do I must do to be sure I'm on the Forknote chain?
Do I just download the wallet in the main OP and download the blockchain? Do I need to add special seeds?
Can someone elaborate?
Thanks

Hi there! Noob here. :-)
Is there any problem with the blockchain sync? I tried to sync the chain with simple wallet about 5 times, starting real quick and running dashcoin v2.0.1.1221 wallet - but sooner or later the wallet displays TX Errors and doesn't finish the syn (seems so). I deleted all files in Appdata\Roaming\Dashcoin several times.
I mined some coins and transfered them on my wallet, but cant seem to check them, as the wallet is not working.
Same problem with the Dash Coin Wallet (gui) f21c4c6 - i'v read that i need to replace the daemon files in the drawer of the wallet, but there is no "dashcoind.exe" or "simplewallet.exe".
I'm running windows 10 on a i5 6600k with 16gb ram and a xfx rx580.

Minergate's fork is longer and that's why it looks like "doesn't finish the sync". It is not a problem TX Errors are just warnings of invalid (already included in blocks or others reasons) transactions. Nothing to worry

Nothing to worry Ok, it seems to be synched now, but wenn i start the simplewallet.exe and load my existing wallet it gives me "2017-Aug-25 14:32:25.737732 ERROR [BlockchainSynchronizer] Failed to query blocks: NodeErrorCategory:5, Internal node error" Man, i simply want access to my wallet, never had any problems with other crypto currencys. :-( edit: i also found the dashcoin wallet gui v1.1.1 and replaced the simplewallet.exe and the dashcoind.exe with the nevest from 2.0.1.1221 but this also doesn't let me open my wallet. it displays that its synced with the network but i can't open my existing wallet nor a test wallet i created within the gui wallet. edit 2: ok, the cli based simplewallet.exe runs now, but the transaction from minergate.com to my wallet is not available. the transactionhash seems to belong to another transaction as the value of coins transfered also doesn't fit. holy crap, nothing but problems.

Read. Just read.
Use only dashcoind.exe and simplewallet.exe.
Forget GUI wallet (for now) and minergate.

Which pool do you prefer? CLI based Wallet works fine now.

I too can't get this Dashcoin wallets running. All error messages. I'm not digging into this. The least coin developers could do is provide an accessible wallet.

Sweet dude, i started mining on this right now. Re-configured my cpu+gpu miners and it works like a charm. Thank you! What do you think, will my coins from minergate ever arrive on my wallet?

I believe they will arrive, just you have to use minergate chain. But, here nobody use or will use (wrong) minergate chain, neither do I.
Added another one pool.

I think an hour or two, from last share. I mean, from first share. And 0,5 DSH at least, for payout.
