Like someone claimed he received a email from bitcointalk.org, the emails could be fade even with a true email address. Getting a 150% profit in 10 days? who can make this happens? only the scammers.

You are wrong, no one can make this happens! Either the scammers because 150% of profit in only 10 days, it's a stupid and useless ponzi. However all we have explained it is a scam, I think it is not more necessary to write it. Isn't it?

I did not receive any such email from coinbase and the content looks fraudulent. If it was true then you could log into your coinbase account and check on the website for the investment offer. It's better to report this email to the coinbase support department to get the scammer's account frozen.

... Investors who want to apply, please make a deposit to ....
Think about it. If everyone invests by sending to the same address, then how would they know who sent how much? Exactly. If it is too good to be true, then it is not true.Golden Rule. Here and in the outside world.

101 to scams and specially random emails that come out of nowhere, supposedly from a trusted source: If it sounds too good to be true, it is too good to be true, therefore it's false.

Who is missing ? I think the OP understood that it was a phishing email and obviously a scam. I think it is not the case to continue spam here (only to try yours post count isn't it?).

Never say never. From what I could see, after observing bitcoin related companies for more than 2 years (since 2013). I am sure you will agree that you can't trust anyone. Even the biggest bitcoin exchanges can fail, and even reputable companies like GAW miners can be lead astray. Coinbase is a pillar of bitcoin for now, and I would like to keep it that way, but who knows? Even they may fail someday.

"pillar of the community"? Are you sure about that? Coinbase is tracking your bitcoins and will ban you if you spend them on something that they don't approve of.

Never trust a random email. Something of this nature would be advertised on the main site and probably announced in their blog. Its a scam.

Coinbase seems to be legit though and becoming more mainstream with their "wall street" backers, but yes I am still Very very careful where I store btc and for how long. I find it really funny that Op posted this here and was not sure whether it is real or not. But after first fast glance at this message from "coinbase" I can tell that these conditions are so surrealy insane that either coinbase went rogue and are trying to scam everyone or this is some sort of fake coinbase/scam attempt. Knowing that it is not from coinbase.com is assuring. I just hope there won't be many idiots who will fell for it.
I'm quite surprised but if you check the attackers address then you notice NOBODY fell for it and nobody deposited! I'm quite proud about us bitcoiners!
