I am selling my Sapphire Vapor-X 5870 with EK nickel block and backplate. It was my main gaming card and it picked up some mining duties as well starting the end of last summer. Its voltage is locked and cannot be changed without a BIOS mod but it does overclock pretty well under water.

EDIT: Here is the best pic I could get of the card together and mining.

Here are some pics of the individual parts:

I am asking for $175 $160 $150 in BTC for it. PM with questions or if interested.

I can also arrange to sell the parts needed to make a small water loop if you don't already have a defined system.

Dude, 175 BTC? I think you made a typo.

Good luck with the card though.

Good luck with the card though.

I made the same mistake when I read it the first time, but it's 175 IN bitcoin. As in 175 / 10.5 (MtGox weighted avg) = 16.67BTC.

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

Thanks for the input guys. I have made it a bit clearer as it is only $175.00.  Will entertain reasonable offers as well. Cheesy

That is the catch I'm afraid.  I cannot get the card to work with the air cooler anymore. The fan doesn't power on continuously and the rpm sensor is way off.

It mines just fine with the waterblock though.  I can part with a small WC loop parts if that helps, for a small charge of course.

Drop in price bump.

hmmm, would reference heatsink + fan etc work on that?  is the gpu in the same place?

it looks like it would to me?

i might be interested in just the card itself, then you could sell the waterblock on ebay or something.   do you or  maybe someone else knows for sure?

My guess is that it probably would not fit. The waterblock is a V2 which was made for non-reference designs. The V1 was made for the reference style. It appears there are slight changes in the vrm area.

I know that this makes it a harder sell for me but I am willing to part with some watercooling gear to make this work out.

As of right now it is running at 1000Mhz and 450MH/s @ 35deg with a U of 6.11. In other words it is running boss and cool as a cucumber. Smiley
