is it mean that the locations it will show on my phone and i go there then i will have those free bitcoins??

whats if some one comes to me with that app..will i have to give him btcs..who will actually pay the bitcoin??

The shop owner (retailer) offers free btc on our app setting the amount.
When you see the shop on the map, you can walk into the shop and scan the unique QR code.
Now you have free btc in your Geobit account.

liked the concept of geobit..and i got the first bits from my local shop by scanning QR code..its too simple.

whenever i am out i just keep looking for free shops offering bitcoins..only found 7 such shops in my sity and i have already visited one of them.

Iam from indonesia, bitcoin is not legal in my country but we have more comunity and you can find some trader in local bitcoin
And bitcoin indonesia have project to make bitisland in bali
i think this app is great if i can use it to find offline merchand in bali

I downloaded the app and I must say that I am happily surprised with it.
Seems easy enough for common people to understand and use and that's a big thing in this mad cryptoworld we live in.
I am wondering though, if it is possible for promoters to put their url in the description, as I think that would be much appreciated.
I also don't understand what is meant with "Follow me" and "Fixed" when choosing a position. It would be nice to see a question mark with an explanation at that point.

We're going to redesign our merchant page in next weeks, so we'll consider your suggestion about url in the description in our brain storming. Truthfully, we’ve just put it in our pipeline. Take a look on https://github.com/RCasatta/Geobit/issues/11. Now we put it on our top priorities.

“Follow me” and “Fixed” buttons set up a new promotion. The difference is:

• “Follow me”: the position is updated based on the location of the merchant. It could be useful for street food vendors. Right now we're considering if it's so useful. We are going to talk with some vendors.
• “Fixed”: merchant puts a defined address.

We agree with you, we've to put a question mark to explain better the differences.
