http://46.166.138.142/

This is a Mining Pool for PPC ( http://ppcoin.org/ ).

Expected Changes?
- Fix expected pay-out rate.
- Fix shares per block (now that I've figured out how to check the block information that has been found).

FAQ
-Q-: Why are we not getting paid for our hard work?
-A-: Turns out, the blocks have to hit a minimum of 520 confirmations before the PPC gets sent to the balance.

I'm not sure what else to say. If you have any questions, feel free to ask here. Please don't PM me, you're questions are most likely to be answered more quickly here than by waiting ~6-12 hours on a reply from me.

[NB]: I'm moving the site to Beta stage as theoretically everything will work without anything breaking it (meaning no matter what happens, it is safe to mine without fear of loosing your work).

[Changes]
-8/23/2012-
Added server uptime.
Fixed site-wide shares submitted since our last block was found;
Added "your" shares since last block if you're logged in, as well as the total # of blocks the pool has found so far.

Thank you for working on this and setting it up so quickly with the launch of PPCoins.  I have been mining on ur pool all or yesterday and I will be making a donation to you once the blocks have confirmed and the coins distributed.

Keep up the excellent work my friend Smiley

Awesome to see a pool of this, and surprised to see that PPCoin network has almost 1/2 a terahash! (Or am I reading that wrong...?)

Great work, I've been mining on the pool for an hour or so and everything seems to be working fine. Seems like something new has been added every time I visit.

Does it make sense that I've been mining on the pool for 2 hours and I have 9 shares? I am using CGminer and it's telling me over and over "new block detected before longpoll"

How many invalid shares does it show?

Yeah, the main graph is off by a LOT.
I would recommend making assumptions based on average shares per block (which seems to be between ~8-12k).

Thanks. Smiley I'll be working on the PPC distribution script once I get home.

It shows 8 Valid Shared and 1 Invalid Share. I'm pointing about 1200KH at the pool. And says I am about 88% effecient.

Any ideas?

Are perhaps the stats on the site way off? I am quite surprised to have still done only 8 shares in all this time.

If you really have 1200kh/s = 1,2,h/s your 8 shares are right. Most GPUs average over 350 000kh/s.

Glad to see there are no Major issues as of now.
I've just gotten back home, and am just not starting to work on the distribution of block payments by shares.

ETA ~ 1-2hours.

[Edit]: Looks like the high server loads are causing some website issues. It looks like the shares are still being parsed normally.
I'll be looking into this once I finish the payout script. Which looks like its going to take some more time than expected. I'll be sure to keep everyone posted.

[Edit2]: Finally got shares from the OLD database distributed into an array. I'm going to compare them to the blocks that are current verified, and start sending out coins. =D

[Edit3]: Wow...that's like the longest I've worked on the script non-stop (well, aside from the occasion post on the forums...). Here in the next ~30-40 minutes, I'll start distribution of the blocks that have their confirmed generation.

7 foreach loops, 6 if statements, 1 while loop.

[Edit~3.1] (Forgot to set the transaction list to >50)
Code:
Block[1410]: Worker(**hidden for security**), Payout(1401.9322871046);
Block[1410]: Worker(**hidden for security**), Payout(2.2777128953771);

Hi NothinG, please note there is 1 cent per kilobyte required transaction fee for ppcoind, in case you encounter any problems. Let me know if your payout transaction is confirmed, and which block it was included. Appreciate the hard work!

Thanks for the heads up. Grin

I'm going to wait till at least a few more blocks mature. That way I can make sure that everyone who mined on the other database will get their shares.

Since it might have to be re-started once the best way to actualy do working proof of stake / proof of work combo is worked out, making an exchange might be premature, you might turn out to pretty much be trading testnet-coins...

That's true for any cryptocurrency. Let the market decide how much they're worth (if anything).
