I was banned for 5 days a while ago for "trolling" in the gaw thread, which I stayed quiet about until now.

New evidence appears that gaw had shills and insiders.

So who was the mod that banned me and is he still in bed with Homero?

Was it worth it risking my trust and escrows? Cutting me off from PMs?

Do such things really happen in this forum? Like if I talk smack at some fuckers that I hate and everybody knows they are scammers I can get banned for that? Maybe there should be a list of companies and topics you can't touch then...

are you sure?

according to https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=ID_GROUP;start=0 there are only 3 admins, 1 seems inactive.

Board moderators can only nuke new users.
Global moderators can also issue permanent bans.
Administrators can also issue temporary bans.

Limitation on temporary bans is to do with a limitation of the ancient software still in use by this forum.

EDIT: Moderators can make recommendations only and will have admins then act.

BadBear doesn't ban users without valid reason. bitpop may have spammed or made insubstantial posts knowingly/unknowingly.

AFAIK Moderators are telling this guy should be banned for that reason to Badbear and he is banning people.

I think you got banned for a valid reason.

I was banned for investigating gaw

Have you ever published someone's private information on this gaw scam?

Now, theymos has to share each BFL topic to the American court. If people sue the gaw then same things may happen and you can be requested into court etc. I think admins are trying to protect users, "yes" by banning them.

You maybe was spamming. If you spam and tell you were discussing, it is still a spam not a discussion. Wait for an official answer but I doubt you will get one soon.

AFAIK, what you said is not true. If they want to protect scams, they should have deleted accusations and other relevant posts, not a ban.

Exactly because scam(s) are not moderated by the forum staff, the BFL question is about another thing... everyone can open his discussion here (and post his valid proofs) but the unique rule here in the forum is " don't spamm" also if you are try to protect the other users.

If BadBear was wrong I think it will not be a problem for him apologize to bitpop (but this doesn't seem the case).

I am waiting for a reply.
Panda knew I was getting a ban, did a mod tell him/her I was getting a ban?

Thank you for this thread, I think Theymos needs to be aware of this because it is possible mods from here were a part of this and something must be done about it.

I am so glad the truth has come out.

The shills mentioned here have left me negative feedback, got me a ban and EvilPanda knew about the ban before it happened, it was posted on the campaign site he/she ran for Gaw.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=530420.msg10105905#msg10105905

I questioned mods about the ban, the feedback and did not get a reply. I tried to save the emails but lost them when BCT went down a couple of months ago.

I was happy I got some people on the campaign to leave even though it was late in the game, it was about to close but did make some people aware of what was going on.

I'm proud to see theymos actually told Homero to fuck off. But we need an answer about mods being involved.
