This is the speculation forum so lets speculate.
When the next big crash happens like the 2008 crash people will realize how much the current system is broken. They will go to bitcoin. 100 satoshi = 1$ by the year 2018.

The system is MORE broken than people can realize. The thing is a crash is not seen instantly, it takes years to see the consequence. It's all a game of how long they can keep injecting money to make things seem OK, but it will not last forever. |

a price of 1M per bitcoin could happen only if a very big number of the today world population suddently invests a portion of their saving into bitcoin, there is no other way to reach such amount If they didn't in 2008, why would they "realize" next time? If we are talking about a crash in 7+years then don't you think we are in the wrong game if that is what you think will get people to adopt to a crypto that crashes once a month>? You may be right 100 satoshi = $1 but you are more than likely wrong as i doubt very much we will be going to that price, it will crash out long before we see them numbers. Probably won't even see $1000 again. Of course this is just my opinion and everyone is entitled to wishful think.. |

Bitcoin will only reach 5000 max. Thus, 100 Satoshi = 100.. is not going to happen.

I don't believe in that scenario. Op you just pulled that numbers out of a hat. But I did not believe in other things like economic crash of 2007 earlier and that happened.
I will more likely believe that it would be 1 BTC = 1 USD by the year 2018. As we know now that that price of bitcoin $+1000 was caused by a bot... and that surge was fake.

You must be kidding or off your marbles, the infrastructure is too strong now for that to happen. If bitcoin were to fade into that territory, people would move on to something else and it would be worthless. As things progress, more demand will come into bitcoin and the price will go up. Again, people forget what happens when a bull market starts, it's likely to be mean after the lasting bear season. |

They are smart peoples, they earned a lot and most finish with it and working on better new projects.Train is gone. Now left only villagers with full of pocket of bitcoins with 500 average price was bought. Maybe 2 years later or any day came much much better project. So if you are in bullish with big dreams that you gonna be rich in one day when btc price will be 10 000 that not guarantee that will be. Just my opinions. |

Not gonna happen if the dollar collapses. Some people would probably buy and there'd be a substantial rise, but bitcoin would quickly be forgotten as it cannot operate without fiat any time soon (or ever, for that matter)
