Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?
Not all governments hate or doesn't trust bitcoin. Japan and South Korea are the examples of the countries that encourages the industry of cryptocurrency to be part of the society. These countries promote technological progress and maximizes the use of it in the market. Hopefully in the near future, other countries will see the potential of this innovation in our life.

Why, until now, government all over the world still doesn't trust bitcoin?
May be because they can't regulate it nor put taxes on it so they fear that they lose the money that they are never been part of working with. Fortunately other countries like Japan, Estonia, and Singapore are friendly to this innovation. I still hope that other nations can still give this technology a chance to prove itself in the economy.

The government is afraid of decentralization. Since they will lose control over finances and most of the officials will not be needed. In addition, governments depend on banks. Banks dictate their terms. They also do not need decentralization.

Because it's still new. And actually a solid percentage of bitcoin users still don't 'trust' bitcoin.
The government announced a severe ban on the use of virtual currency (cryptocurrency) such as bitcoin as a means of transaction and payment in Indonesia.

They think that Bitcoin is a sorce of making false money and it will end fiat currency. Government will have to suffer from majir financial losses. That is the reason thst Bitcoin is hated by some people.

I think the government does not want to recognize blockchain technology so they do not trust bitcoin and blockchain, hopefully for the future they want to open the eyes of the benefits of blockchain technology.

There is a pretty dangerous loss! Anonymity is the cause of corruption, the spread of drugs and other illegal things. In addition, the crypto currency is very similar to bubbles.

Because no government can control it or wish to control it. Besides many people use this online currency to do evil work such as money-laundering, buying-Selling weaponry and many more.

When you have a network system that is directly a possible replacement to the current financial system or will it one day ruin the grip and control you have, would you trust it in the first place? In fact I should change the word to threat to be more precise. Governments generally won't endorse or accept bitcoin for that matter and they will do anything to prevent that from happening.

Totally agree. Not even the bitcoin users trust Bitcoins. The banks hate BTC from every aspects. And the government have a good and healthy relationship with the banks. No wonder many governments don't trust the Bitcoin or crypto coins or the blockchain technology.

Bitcoin is a technological development that cannot be dammed its development, this system is very profitable.

Exactly because they are slowly losing power over the people and if you can't control a population anarchy would ensure, right? That is what they would have you believe, but they are more scared not because of anarchy but because most governments don't want their citizens to be free. And when you type or say that out loud it sounds pretty damn messed up, but it isn't incorrect sadly .

One of the main reasons may be that bitcoin is a decentralized currency, meaning that no one or government can control it, this means that if the government can not control it, then the government will not face it because it does not benefit them. Actually a solid percentage of Bitcoin users do not trust the government.

I think government doesn't trust on bitcoin because of the price so high and government scared because theres a chance to replace the own currency and government did not get a tax on bitcoin because government did not adopt on bitcoin so i think that is the reason why government did not trust on bitcoin.

Bitcoin and other digital currencies is something new and there seems to be no further study of it. Bitcoin has not been studied deeper down to its roots. I think the government is just being cautious about bitcoin and may also be reviewing bitcoin before it can finally accept bitcoin openly. Let's give the government time.

I tthink When the first VCRs came out there were a lot of people who wanted them banned. Almost all of the early adoption came from porn. Many could not see beyond this one use of the device, just as many look at BTC and think Silk Road is the reason it's popular.
