A massive financial crisis (October surprise) will follow the RNC convention and Hurricane Isaac. Will people smartly invest in Bitcoin? Probably not.

What does the RNC have to do with a financial collapse?

Probably nothing. Financial crises always seem to be coincidentally assiciated with Republicans.

Largely ignored teeny weeny little article with preposterous assumptions in the Off-Topic section. What does this tell us?

Thank you for that useful tweet post.
My point is that even if there is another banking crisis, it will not help Bitcoin. We are following a non-economic track. I predict panic and a huge drop in the stock market, but it will only show that perseverance will keep Bitcoin slowly developing as an underground currency. Outside events will have little bearing good or bad.
