Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yep, correct version. I am down to 15 days out, 97%. It takes like an hour per percent.

Anyone know why Cryptopia won't give a Universal Currency (UNIT) receive address out? Keep trying to create a receive address and it gives an error that says to contact Universal coin.

I had the same problem earlier today. Than got an adress finally from crytopia and after sending the UNIT's from my desktop wallet about 6 hours ago they still did not arrive on cryptopia!
Seems not being able to get a UNIT receive adress seems to be the better option than having, like me, the UNITS lost in space  Angry

I could bet that as soon as the value goes down my UNIT's will apear.  Undecided

still wondering why my stakeing wallet keep mining but with 5 out of 6 looking like this....
Status: conflicted
Date: 2/2/2018 08:19
Source: Generated
Debit: 0.00 UNIT
Net amount: -27.2202694 UNIT

Generated coins must mature 110 blocks before they can be spent. When you generated this block, it was broadcast to the network to be added to the block chain. If it fails to get into the chain, its state will change to "not accepted" and it won't be spendable. This may occasionally happen if another node generates a block within a few seconds of yours.

what gives?

What you should do is learn that both Bittrex and Cryptopia are private companies and your private dealings with them have nothing to do with the currency. Once you learn that, then you'll know which private company to go to in order to solve your private transaction issues.

If you have to ask "why?", you wouldn`t understand my answer.

I'm hoping the developer of the Windows wallet or another member of the wallet team is monitoring this thread.

v1.0.2.0-g doesn't render correctly on a laptop with a 4k screen, and the text is too small to read unless you use magnifier at 300%.

I've posted a new snapshot of the UNIT blockchain on my Google Drive for anyone interested. This is current through about 2/2/2018 11 AM EST.

Thanks for this. Smiley

It's normal, your one of millions competing for blocks.  With all those people stacking blocks you are going to run into conflicts.

If there was a way to "recover" an encrypted passphrase, it would defeat the point of encrypting it. Wink

Happened to me few days ago. What I did I removed wallet.dat then open the wallet and importprivkey thru console. Make sure to backup first your wallet.dat and your private key.
